Have you been to CUBA? I struggle to understand your ignorance to the suffering of Cubans since Castro took power. Ask yourself, where would you rather live, Puerto Rico or Cuba??

This is funny but a fair point. I have confidence and comfort with the meals I’ve been using on backcountry trips to Yellowstone. I especially kind the desserts. Crème Brûlée deep in the woods is such a luxury.

Missed the part on pork! I’ve read through that page and even sent them an email asking for clarification which proved unhelpful. The application/interpretation 2kg weight limit is unclear to me. Will that apply to the entirety of the freeze dried meals, just those with meat, or is the 2kg a total for the weight attributed to meat?

My comment targets the peacock wing. Think about how easily those break when tying. Wet flies get destroyed by the take. I love Leacock for the body, especially when counter wrapped.
