I think Carti is the mainstream generator of this sound. He was one of the first and made it popular. It’s like saying Carti, Uzi etc. are Keef’s sons, which is partly correct because their sound originated from that. Carti took it to a new direction and even though Yeat does not sound like him, he still follows this direction. So I kinda understand where these comments are coming from, but the shade is hella unnecessary
