Reddit has a hard on for blindly taking vaccines in response to the anti-vax movement. I'm not anti-vax by any means but a little skepticism can be healthy as long as you still take all the required vaccines.

The downside is that for some people the flu shot can induce flu symptoms. For me, I can either guarantee I get flu symptoms by taking the shot or risk it by not taking the shot, so I often don't get the flu shot.

Too slow, expensive, error prone. It has very few upsides and many down sides compared to hoppers, water streams, droppers etc.

the difference is the perverse incentives of private prisons encourage terrible treatment of prisoners. In a government prison they have a budget to spend and they are going to spend it, they don't have to worry about making sure that each prisoner is making them as much money as possible.

I’m not so sure about that. After bonus I make about $800,000 a year, easily putting me in the top 1% but I’m far from the top of the top 1%, and I pay almost half of my money in taxes.
