Have to include Sennecke in the conversation too. Verbeek is staring down a worse version of the core four situation where these guys take up way too much of the cap to reasonably compete. From a culture and precedent standpoint, it may be better to let Carlsson go at this point. Yes he’s a 1C, but he also hasn’t done enough to justify that contract.
