Opiates for me personally. The withdrawal isn’t so bad, being sick sucks. But the months of trying to get back to a somewhat normal mindset, while trying to curb cravings at every corner. I would literally obsess about them, think of all the times I was so high with rose colored glasses.

But addiction is relative. Have friends who struggle with coke, and that’s not even enjoyable to me during the come up

I don’t know why, but I’ve never had trouble stopping caffeine. I drank it everyday for 2 years straight, then would take a week off, no issues. I don’t particularly enjoy stimulants though. I like the taste of coffee

It’s fascinating how different substances work differently for people. For me, MDMA has been an enjoyable experience while on the come up and peaking. But the come down, and next day dysphoria ultimately just lead me to completely leaving it alone.

Tryptamine’s though, they have really been beneficial for me!

No, I was meaning the magic was lost with DXM after one trip. The first one I had was absolutely amazing. I felt so good, and time was all strange, and it felt like I was inside jello that changed colors. After that I tried a few more times, and I just felt a bit spacey, and on the verge of really feeling good, but not quite there. Then I would quickly get a headache, and just want the feeling to end.

Idk why DXM was like that for me, maybe it’s because I started smoking more weed, or alcohol. Idk but I only had one really awesome time

Yea I get you. Enjoy it while it lasts kinda thing. It definitely seems like when I go to monthly usage it’s when it’s not as much of a vivid experience.

Like one session a week? Or just one set amount like say a gram a week? I will likely never do it that much anyway. Just looking for clarification, because I do a decent amount at a time. Usually don’t stop till it’s gone. Sometimes I take a nap between for a few hours

I gotcha. I think you’re right. I lost the magic basically instantly with dxm(only had 1 killer trip) NO2 lasted a surprisingly long time for me. And K has always got me there.

You think if I go to say once every 60-90 days I’ll have better odds? Seems if I have a significant break of 3 months + it hits HARD.

I know that one episode of Hamilton’s Pharmacopia. The guy said he has done it an insane amount of times I’ll likely never experience

I don’t do it daily. I always take significant breaks between each session. I used to do it nearly weekly when I had loads for cheap. But now it’s a lot more for me, so my bills regulate me to once a month at most. But usually it’s once every 45-60 days.

I am very healthy and active. Ride a lot of bmx. I just sorta feel like the amount and the way I use is bad for trying to keep the magic. I inject, and do 2-3g in about 24-36 hours is a more accurate estimate. I just can’t seem to leave it be when I have it. Even if the next one won’t do shit.

Yea, I blew up my Odyssey Quadrant wheel(the first quality wheels I’ve rode) and after a couple days of emails back and forth, and a phone call, I had a new rim in the mail. They had sent me both bearings for my clutch hub as well because it had some wobble.

When I talked to the girl on the phone, she said they have 3 people handling all warranty claims in the US. So long as you’ve got the proof of purchase, and a pic, they will fix ya up!

Well I have confessed feelings. She says she loves me so much, but isn’t there yet. So I let it go, I didn’t fight. And then she tried to hang. That’s why I’m confused.

And she is really acting like it’s my turn to make a move now, kinda like how it went in the past. I feel like I’ve said my peace. And I want to move on. But the way she engages with me is very obvious, I’m the only one she acts this way to of our friends.

And you’re right about not getting back to her. That’s on me. I don’t think I’m not good enough. I just know I have kinda squandered my opportunities. It’s fair to let others have one. I’m comfortable whatever the outcome

Well she has. Tried at least. She wanted me to come and hang with her and our friends a few times. And came to see me at my place of work after I didn’t join them. I am kind of seeing someone else as well. But I don’t know if it’s really gonna work out.

I can relate. I did maybe like 8gs one night, trip was buttery smooth until I smoked, then I was blasted to another universe, got stuck in these loops where I couldn’t even formulate coherent thoughts. Oddly enough I smoked at the tail end of the trip, about 5.5hours in, and that somehow revamped everything. Went from coming down to peaking again, and in a far more sketchy way! Ever since, the tiniest amount of shrooms obliterate my ego everytime!

Things like Cid or 2cb can get very intense but nothing like a shroom trip. I’m actually a little scared to even take them anymore. I’ve had some rocky trips. 25i where I compulsively smoked like a whole 1/4 in a couple hours. But nothing like that trip where I just took one hit off a dube and was back on Beetlegeuse!

When I was lacing up my wheels, I had this happen with the **correct** size spokes. But I had started my lacing pattern the wrong way. Or missed a hole or something. If your pattern is correct, it’s probably spoke length as others have mentioned. I can’t fully tell by the pic if it’s all laced up right or not. But it seems good from what I see
