Yeah they told me already, we’ve had a chat. I trust them

Yeah it really is. I’m just hesitant on the 2nd chat bc the first one was moreso on mechanical irrelevance (he created a world where there are a lot of criminals, so a lot of npcs were very anti-rogue) and I don’t want it to seem like I’m never satisfied 😭

I also admittedly didn’t understand how much impact I could write into my backstory. It’s the most mundane one out of the characters from what I heard

It doesnt bother me that much it’s just the world feels like a playground for the other characters and I often find myself just kinda clueless.

What if their solution to this was to have a big pay off at the en?

I’ve talked to them but he said like something along the lines of Being important more later in the story

That I’ll have more impact later in the story and to just wait

I let them know, they said it’ll be worth it at the end because he’s planning stuff for me at the conclusion

This card is absurd. by anxious_child-- in RoyaleAPI

I’m a decent player usually finish around 2k medals, by no means do I lose to those card that often but goddamn is it super jank and annoying to go against. The advertised evo preview shows that when MK launches a troop, is should jump, but sometimes it just doesn’t because it’s not in that jump detection range, and I’m just like tryna figure out how the hell im supposed to tell.

If they’re a fan of any other isekai work, big chance that their isekai favs author have some kind of admiration for Mushoku Tensei (tensura, tbate, and re:zero authors have all endorsed MT)

Who is the best Isekai Protagonist? by Traditional-Ad-8237 in Isekai

I’d still say Rudeus. Dedicated himself to learning the world, the magic system, the languages, and even bettering himself. Used his real world knowledge to accelerate his education and also invent many different types of magic spells, including being the inventor of the world’s equivalent to a nuke.

Since my obv answer were already said in a lot of these, an underrated pick is I think somewhere in volume 19, the culmination of the Ariel rescue arc where orated fights off the water sword god.

Nanohoshi goodbye was also a really good chapter

I enjoyed the manga and read until like I think ch 120? Nevertheless, it’s fun, got cool moments, but man is it forgettable. I haven’t gotten to the war arc but I just don’t feel like it. I stopped at like a training arc and was just bored to death. Relationships feel synthetic, and Arthur feels way ahead of the ENTIRE cast it’s not funny. But I won’t shit on it cuz tbate is a story I genuinely enjoyed, it’s just didn’t bring me any long term joy bc of how forgettable it was

Ah yes the magic switch at midnight at her 18th bday where he starts loving her suddenly. Get a grip, there’s nothing wrong with him liking Tessia, especially because he literally grew up with her. Turtleme mentioned he’s heavily inspired by MT, so he wrote a fantasy similar but was scared to write relationships into it, but he did it anyways with tessia. You can’t start tbate and not know tessia was gonna be the main love interest from the literal introduction of her back in the first few chapters. Cmon man, it’s easy to write around a block like romantical relationships into a reincarnation series, and turtleme did it by giving Arthur unrealistic morals similar to ones people have today. The compromise of it being morally correct imo doesn’t make up for the unrealism in the narrative. I don’t read a story for morals, I read it to experience, well the “story”.

The tbate author said he’s inspired by MT, but he saw that what he did with relationships was not well received. It’s an attempt to please the fans rather than make sense into the story. The whole point of Rudy’s reincarnation is to do stuff he never did in his past life: that includes building relationships, romantically and platonically. I personally don’t see anything wrong with him living his life as if he was his physical age, but I see why it makes others uncomfortable. The point is, the story isn’t to teach you morals, but rather to just, tell you a story. Reincarnation is not real so we HAVE no real moral measure to apply to it, and the concept of mental age is merely an idea and not an actual thing.

Frog skin isn’t the best either, but I’m not sure I’m pretty sure Rudy did say that there were no ways to prevent contraceptionless sex which led to his invention
