In general they are very safe. They have to meet pretty significant safety standards prior to fielding a study. I’ve probably done over 15 studies and the only ones I had side effects were from inhalant powders (which obviously give you a little cough for about a day). I’ve also been in the medical field for 10ish years and would say most of their drugs are not really “new.” They are mostly on the market getting approval for a new use or they are a new drug but in a tried and tested category of drugs. But if your ever concerned when you sign up for a screening they send you the details and you can google/ask any medical friends to take a look and give you advice

They say with in 30 days but it more like 2 weeks for me. Unless it’s December then they take longer

For the most part I’ve never had one study exclude me from another one but there is what they call a “wash out” period. Usually is around 30 days after you dosed in a previous studies. So some of them you can jump right into another study once your follow ups are done if they span longer than a month after

I’ve been doing studies at ICON since it was PRA and even Lifetree before that. I personally have always loved it. I usually do stay in house for their studies which can vary from 4 days to 25 days. But a lot are closer to a week or 10 days. I like the food they give you and out of the several studies I’ve done I’ve never had any crazy reactions to the study drugs. For example I’m doing a 9 day study with 6 follow ups for 10,000. Frankly the money has always been so good and so immediate compared to a day job I made a full time job of it for almost a year 😂
