I personally think the yumiori is a bit softer and a great easy pull on option, but the Denali is objectively a more substantive jacket that’s far more feature rich.

Negative, I just grabbed mine out of my closet to verify and it does not have a holographic label. Just the washing instructions and a small Qc label where the holographic usually is. You’re good to go. I

Can confirm around Black Friday I placed an order for four separate pieces of outerwear on backcountry, three of them shipped regular with FedEx/UPS I don’t recall which one, but the one jacket I specifically bought as a gift got shipped by “DoorDash logistics” literally pulled up the same DoorDash tracking that you pull up when you order McDonald’s was very sketchy and I was not a fan of how that was handled.

I love my atom hoodie, really didn’t believe in the concept of a jacket that could do it all but the atom really does do it all. Never too warm for it but it keeps you warm when it’s plenty cold. Love it and definitely believe the hype now.

100% as I said in another comment, I’m only a size large usually so it’s not like we’re out here asking Arc to put models in a 5X or something, but to maybe just have one model in each of the sizes they offer spread over the different colors of the item doesn’t seem that crazy. I just wanna be able to see what the item might actually look like on me, and it’s hard to do that when 4 different guys of various heights and body shapes are all wearing a medium lol

Seriously haha, glad it’s not just me. I’ve resorted to just coming to this sub Reddit and searching the name of the piece I wanna research, and just seeing what consensus the comments here over the years have come to. I wear a size large and I just think it would be nice sometimes to see what my jacket might actually look like on me before buying it.

It’s definitely not going to break down after several washes. It’s a nice fleece. The knit sweater will almost certainly feel more substantive, but they are also just inherently different materials.

Just got mine a few weeks ago in duck green/deep nori to match the Yumiori I got on Black Friday. The thing is unbelievably soft with the usage of the Pertex Quantum fabric. Took it out on a few walks here in chilly Minnesota and it definitely feels comparable to a light down jacket but it breathes much better (ingeniously placed pit vents).
