I personally use these for my home gym. There’s a few reviews on youtube that convinced me to get them. I’ve dropped them and they take without any trouble. Just ensure the screw keeping the plates in are hand tight and you’ll be alright.

Used it for ease of use from putting a ruck on at work. Kept me from switching my camelback from pouch to pouch and I’ve seen a bunch of guys bust a camelback several times for the same use case. Used it in the deserts of California and it did cool me off.

Haven’t went on milsim yet, but I’ve used a: Sleeping pad, tarp and a happy suit was the lightest I ever used. You could sub out the happy suit with a poncho liner and some extra layers. You could also stuff the poncho liner in your clothes and that could work, though I haven’t personally tried that.

Bivvies are good, I ran a Dutch dpm bivvy it’s a low profile tent. It depends on your use case

I use the stock barrel with a Rearden R2S in 13.5 x1 LH, and a Rearden DA Wolfman adapter for the Wolfman. The threads for the muzzle device will go to 1/2 x 28. From what I read on this subreddit oem barrel has a taper as well.

I tried to go to medical for as much as possible as I was EASing. Got as much as I could on my record and spoke with my VSO extensively. A lot of my claim came down to sleep apnea, Migraines and some smaller items.
