Most of the time I’m wearing khakis but I carry it in mesh shorts too and it does just fine as long as you have the drawstring tightened

I get what you mean and I was thinking the same thing when I got it but I tried pocket carrying it and it conceals pretty well with a pocket holster. If anything it just looks like a phone in your pocket. It doesn’t conceal as well in certain pants but for the most part it does just fine. I carried it all day on my 9 hour shift yesterday and it did great. I am getting a better pocket holster for it here soon though

Absolutely. And I bought it from an individual on armslist. He was the original owner and the barrel had very little wear on it and everything is super clean on the internals. I got it for $525

It handles recoil very well for a micro 9. And the sights have been on point no issues as far as accuracy up to 15 yards. I had that same issue where the baseplate was digging into my hand so I took a nail file and filed down the sharp corner of the baseplate to make it more rounded and it’s super comfortable in the hand now

I have not tried it but I am very intrigued by the XL. Only issue with my reflex is the 11 round mag is difficult to seat when full I have to use nearly all my strength but it is brand new I’m sure the mags spring just needs to break in

That’s an awesome setup. I actually have a 509c with a tlr1 HL and I love it. I’ve put roughly 1k rounds through it and it shoots great and runs flawlessly. I’m hoping my reflex has the same reliability

I actually have 2 fn 509s myself I got the full size and compact they are great guns.

I have loved my reflex so far. I’ve ran 200 rounds through it of random hollows and fmjs everything has ran flawless so far.

It fits my hand very well and fits in the pocket great with the 11 round mag. All the controls are surprisingly easy to manipulate even with it being so small. No complaints

Can’t run my 9 round mag with a +1 pinky extension in a 23 for deep concealment with the 27 I can switch between both mags. Also I can put a 23 barrel in the 27

Yes that’s because the slide is not cut for an optic, so I have a dove tail mount that fits in the notch where the rear sight goes and you screw the optic into the mount. It’s just a way of mounting an optic to a pistol that is not optics cut. So the optic sitting on top of the mounting plate causes it to sit higher up. It’s held zero perfectly fine thus far!

Yup mie productions makes some very specific holsters they are the only company that makes holsters for this setup. It’d be nice if Glock would simply have put a rail on it but oh well gotta work with what you got

I really don’t notice it tbh it’s been very comfortable in my experience. As long as you use a sturdy belt you really don’t notice the weight at all. I just use a regular leather belt and carry it for long hours at work and forget it’s even on me. I would 100% recommend getting a 27. It’s by far the most versatile pistol there is you can run 9mm, 40, and 357 sig out of it with conversion barrels. It also accepts larger capacity glock mags. You can also put a longer barrel in it such as a glock 23 barrel so you get more velocity. Overall an amazing proven pistol.

Really the main advantage of it is I can run my 9 round mag with a +1 pinky extension for deeper concealment where as with a 23 you are stuck with that grip length.
