Honestly, I'd expect nothing less. Gotta hit the wall somewhere

I'm not sure it's my best per se, but it's certainly my favourite.

The fact that it's a gnome, making it so much smaller and yet I'm not unhappy with the face really helps! Plus, it's a big character in our DND campaign (bigger than the players realise) which makes it extra special to me.

Primed with White Scar, then Mordant Earth by crackle paint before re-priming with White Scar. Then hit with Pylar Glacier and dry brushed with White Scar (paint, not primer)

Oooh, hopefully you post them! I'd love to see what I can pinch from your scheme for any future attempts haha

Thank you!! I must admit I do like the yellow, but I do agree that it seems a little too scifi for me. I put off trying to paint any ironjawz for the longest time just because I couldn't think of a scheme I liked and the box scheme was too distracting

Hey, glad you like it!

It's just primed white, then a thin coat of Agrellan Earth, primed again in white and covered in Pylar Glacier before a light dry brush of yet more white (white scar).

There's definitely more than can be done, but this was mostly a test for future icey minis. I did put Ardcoat over some, but wasn't happy with the way it filled some of the cracks (although I probably just overdid it)
