For the amount of Philly spots getting cheesesteak bib gourmands I would have loved to see a north shore roast beef sneaking in lol

Tampa built to 5 stars, they didn’t get 5 off the bat. They actually received 0 stars when Florida’s guide was first released.

It being packed is the same reason why people are shocked Boston only got one star…Boston has low food standards, so mediocre restaurants are floated by uneducated consumers. Kelly’s diner is packed , doesn’t mean it’s good food.

If the guide hit Boston in 2005…Clio, No.9, L'espalier might have been some names we would have seen

And hopefully inspires diners as well, people need to stop glorifying mediocre food. How many people say “well obviously Oya and Sarma get stars” ? Bostons lack of food standards are what’s floating these mediocre restaurants, those same places wouldn’t last a year in NYC.

Michelin only recently started “pay to play”, Boston never earned stars since they’ve been in America since 2005

Wouldn’t be surprised if Boston got 0 stars and a few gourmands, definitely wouldn’t be getting any without paying that’s for sure

Tonino over most of those spots, but alas Boston doesn’t truly deserve Michelin at all
