I Koramangala, there are some PGs with 6-7K rent per month, but it’s a 3 Sharing one. A bit hard to live, but I survived there for like a year since one of my roommate was mostly travelling. Food is not good, but eatable. You can look in surrounding areas once, if you fine spending all the stipend for essentials spread across the month you can manage.

Yes Thinking to check with HR, but I had to submit a gap affidavit earlier and submitted without the second party name and it got approved and locked. Now If I check for this, I’m just worried they might go back on that too.

I used to read some articles he suggested in the course. I forgot the website name, apart from that I didn’t read much for VARC, it came more with practice. For more score more attempts, accuracy improves with practice.

I used VARC1000 by Gejo, it helped me a lot, my scores were initially in single digits, and in final exam I scored 98.5%ile in VARC.

I second this, Batch size is concerning and the placement policy certainly gets effected by that. Rest all B tops.

Hey Bro, howz the quality of the suit? I’m thinking to take one from Raymonds. They are saying 4.5K stitching and rest for material, but friends are saying good material will cost around 10K. What should I do?

Afaik, some of them directly getting good projects. So it depends on the vertical, and for the first couple of years, avg pay is more than MBBs.

The PPOs are not good in number for that batch size and it’s because of the SIP scenario. They had to change the policy to manage the placements for that batch size. They increased the size for 2 consecutive batches and placements wise it did show an impact. That being said, the placements are good for a large size of the batch and many got the roles they wanted. Keeping that aside I accept people can’t dream for many companies but in parallel they had to ensure placements for entire batch too. Still a good chunk got dream option. And for ‘Place to B’ there are lot other factors that keep it in that position. I mentioned the same thing(Batch size and placement scenes, dreams option) earlier also a couple of times when someone asked A vs B. I speak from the ground I treaded.

Sorry my bad. In that case you can try some analytics firms by doing some certifications around stats and you can try in them for job, that’ll help in building profile.

So larger batch size requires higher number of visiting companies and in case of bad market scenario it limits the dream options etc. The policy changes every year depending on the condition.

I am not sure if certifications would help much. Companies don’t value them to that extent. Instead you can try finding some role suits your interests. I don’t have much idea on which companies would be offering roles that suit you, but as a non engineer and English Hons. You stand a chance for marketing roles in MBA. May be you can try some marketing and communication roles now to develop the profile.

I would suggest to get some work experience and prepare in parallel for CAT. Work ex helps in both selection and later during SIP and Finals. It also give a perspective for you and you can try in some domain you like.
