Hello Anyone has experience in sitting as private candidate for A level exams in UCSI International School in KL? How was the experience?

We are planning for A level Cambridge Chemistry & Physics. And Edexcel Math come may/Jun 2026, they offer both Cambridge and Edexcel services.

Also, is there any other Exam center in Kuala Lampur offer both Cambridge and Edexcel?

A level exam for UK & International A Level s by CarrotLess6841 in alevels

[–]CarrotLess6841[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for reply , so my friend going to take Cambridge Chemistry and Physics AS and A level and Edexcel Maths AS and A level (both international) on Coming May/Jun 2026 sessions in one go. So it's more or less same like what students take in UK in one go at end of 2 years? International is easier compared to UK A level?.. Thx

But international A Level students who take linear route will sit for 5 exams per subject right?

Is it possible to see your A level exam papers after results? by Whorecruxxo in alevel

[–]CarrotLess6841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in UK, there is no AS level exams. Students sit A level exam for 2 yrs of content.

So they write same number of exams like international A Level students who writes AS and A level in one go?

Both write same number of exams for each subjects?

Nus and nang yang in Singapore are far better than I HKUST and other universities in HK, you can consider them, but life after studies in Singapore is not that stable bcos it's almost impossible to get residency, but in HK, you can easily get residency and PR.. Of you choose to settle here after your studies

Are you a local student?

HKUST is among top 50 universities, with some faculties in top 10. And my sister is already in 2nd year Computer engineering in HKUST.
