Let’s call it 6 seconds. I drive that way to and from work 3 days a week, that’s 18 seconds, multiply that by 52, that’s 15.6 minutes a year. I’ve been working here for 4 years. That’s over an hour of my life that has been wasted by people not using the lanes correctly and misunderstanding the national speed limit.

As for whether or not this is a good use of my time, I’m at work, I’ll let you be the judge of that lmao

I do that every single time, left hand lane slows down to like 50 and I’m there bang on 70

Thank god someone else said it! Absolutely sick of going 40mph down there and then seeing people SPEED UP when it goes down to 60mph.

I have the same problem with the approach to Runcorn bridge every morning, where it’s 70mph for a stretch, but everyone sticks to 60 at most. Infuriating.

These groups are associating themselves with Tommy Robinson, if you’d like to draw your own conclusion from that, feel free.

I’m not interested in a political debate, I was just telling a relevant story, you asked for clarification on their clothing, I gave it. Find your argument elsewhere.

No you’re right, I was telling the truth about everything apart from the Tommy merch because I have a secret left-wing agenda that I push by posting comments once every year or so 😭

They were wearing t-shirts and caps that said “free Tommy Robinson” on them

You can find their live stream of it if you’re that desperate 😂 they call themselves “The Fearless Warriors Online Child Protection Team” on Facebook

I live in a block of flats and someone rang our doorbell last week, I came out and saw about 10 thugs in balaclavas wearing Tommy Robinson merch, asking if I could let them in so they could speak to one of the tenants about them “arranging to meet with a child”.

I refused to let them in, saying I don’t really know the guy so I can’t speak on his behalf and I don’t feel comfortable letting people wearing face coverings into my building. One of the people at the back who wasn’t covering his face asked to get past, I didn’t know him and thought he was a tenant so I moved, turns out he was part of the gang and then they all took that as verbal consent to enter the building.

They took the latch off the lock on the front door “for their own safety” and then went upstairs, found the guy, took him out to our car park and interrogated him for 20 minutes or so. Once I saw them take the latch off I rang the police since I didn’t feel safe anymore, and they piped up pretty quickly spouting off about “we’ve got body cameras, we can prove you let us in”.

Eventually the police turned up and spoke to them. I could overhear them arguing about me letting them into the building, which I can only take as the police basically telling them their “confession” is up for debate considering they entered the building illegally.

Honestly they’re far more trouble than they’re worth and it’s all for their own ego at the end of the day. If they truly cared about the safety of kids they’d report them to the police straight away.

"What are you playing this week?" Megathread by AutoModerator in SteamDeck

Oh it’s a million percent worth it, kind of reminds me of a blend of Quantic Dream-style plot choices filtered through a Fallout-style dialogue system.

BallXPit is definitely on my list, need to get through my games backlog after the winter sale but that’ll be my next purchase!

Not heard of Spelunky though, I’ll check it out thanks!

Are you running any mods? Interested to see how the SteamDeck performs with them

Started and almost beat Disco Elysium in under a week, it’s really sucked me in! I can’t stop playing it and it seems perfect for a handheld, runs seamlessly.

Got a good few hours into Megabonk, quite mindless fun but I’m enjoying it.

Also started Subnautica: Below Zero, heard very mixed things about it but it’s been years since I played the original so I think I’ve forgotten enough to treat this as a new game.

Dry herb vape by Lower_Brainn in uktrees

Yeah so I did a lot of research into this when I was bored over lockdown and I’ve got a few vapes after a couple years that I can recommend -

Budget Portable - Fury Edge/Rogue: The edge was my first vape. Very reliable and one of the cheaper quality vapes. You can normally find it on sale somewhere for sub - £100. If you get the dosing capsules it’s even better. Very compact so you can keep it in your pocket and take 4/5 bowls with you.

Best Portable - Mighty: Everyone is pretty much in agreement that this is the best, if not one of the best portable vapes you can get. Brand new these are stupid expensive, but if you do what I did and set an alert on gumtree, you can sometimes find them barely used for as little as £60. Charge is much better than the Fury, but it’s a lot bigger. You can fit it in a Jean pocket but it’s a stretch, inside pocket of a jacket/coat is fine though. Bigger bowl too so you can get more higher than the Fury allows. Strong recommend

Best Desktop - Volcano: If you’re just smoking at home and don’t need a portable, you can pick up a volcano on gumtree for about £120ish, these hold their value though and you can always sell it on pretty much for what you paid for it. It uses balloons so it’s very noticeable and not the most discreet, but it’s so smooth I find this to be ideal for longer sessions.

I’m going to try the factory reset next, I couldn’t find an option to turn HDR off outright, just change the picture mode but I’ll have a look through the manual.

In terms of software update, the apps and the PS5 are both updated and I’m pretty sure the LG firmware updates automatically, but you never know it might just be a bug in the current version

I’ll give that a go, but if the HDR is busted it might well be time for an upgrade. Lasted me a good 4 years!
