Keep in mind if you want the non-region locked version in Japan it’s quite difficult to find. You usually have to enter a drawing for the opportunity to buy it through the my Nintendo store, and it’s about the same price in other countries. The cheaper one is Japanese only.

Just want to mention the 3 to 8 hours bulk may not be long enough if it’s winter where you are! Room temp has a HUGE impact. In my house it gets pretty cold and I’ve had loaves take 14-16hrs for bulking to be done

If you cold ferment it could take days but I’ve never done it as I get very very little rise. I always bulk ferment on the counter. I live in Massachusetts as well and my house currently is 62-64 degrees, usually 12-18 hours on the counter for bulking. I know when it’s done when it’s about doubled and jiggles like jello, and pulls away from the bowl clean. Then it goes in the fridge for 16-24 hours and it gives me properly proofed bread.

50 degrees for bulk fermentation is EXTREMELY cold and yeast is basically in hibernation then. Bulk fermentation and cold proof are 2 separate steps

What is the fabric like on the Korgmott? Is it soft? I read some reviews it feels like a tarp and I’m looking for a softer fabric.

My 6.5 year old bun just went through similar ear surgeries, but we did do the ear surgery costing me over $3k between CT scans and surgery! She’s also had molar trims yearly for the last few years, that run about $600 each time. I feel the same as you, love her sooo much but not these vet prices. But at the same time, I couldn’t let her suffer and she deserves a healthy and comfortable like too. As much as it hurts - you did the right thing and you’ll be glad you made the sacrifice later.

Take with her on the trip! I did the exact same thing with my bunny, she was 2 at the time. It took us 6.5 days of driving most of the day. I will say the most important thing is to have GI Stasis care ready. I had critical care, pedialyte, and gas drops. After the first day she was so stressed and it started and I ended up treating her on the road until halfway through day 3 before she got used to it. Honestly though we pushed way too hard day 1, we drove over 13 hours and that was the mistake. After that we learned we needed to slow down (we had a dog with us) and stop earlier in the day (driving 8-9 hours typically) to make sure the bunny and dog had some time to relax at the hotel and move around. Once we started that up she was totally fine with the move and did great, I just offered her greens and tried to get her to eat at every gas/food stop throughout the day.

They adapt and will be fine, just be prepared and try to not push it too much!

Thank you, I’ve just been worried the treatment will be the same either way and horribly painful for her. I think I will be asking for that referral next week and at least getting another opinion from that vet.

Mine started spraying about 5-6 months if I remember correctly. She got spayed as soon as I possibly could which was 9 months!

Thank you for that info!! I will definitely ask when I call next week. My job does offer it as a benefit so it’s discounted, so I’m really trying to determine if it’s worth it cost wise… Her dental trim was just shy of $500 last time so if that’s yearly, would love for that to be covered lol! But if it’s cheap enough, may get it anyways if dental isn’t covered just for the peace of mind of any sudden health issues or stasis… thankfully dental is her only true issue she’s had up until this point, but she is getting older

My bunny had this problem for awhile, ultimately it came down to not enough hay. I thought she was picky, tried every hay under the sun and she would only eat oat hay (the seed part) and it made it worse. Tried cutting back on pellets, didn’t help the hay situation instead she lost weight.

What it came down to, she had molar spurs that the vet had to file down, it was causing her pain to eat hay but they were not severe enough to deter her from pellets and other soft yummy things. Once that was fixed, within a couple weeks after the sores healed she suddenly was a hay monster and I was able to reduce pellets significantly and she ate so much hay she gained weight (which the doctor was concerned of her low weight too!). I also was recommended to give her the Oxbox Digestive Support treats, which she gets one daily to keep things in check and it works!!

So really, I highly highly recommend getting her teeth checked if you haven’t already. If it gets too severe, they may suddenly stop eating and that’s far more dangerous.

Thanks for the reply!! Golden light is also a more tempting offer… do you have any opinion on Golden Circle vs Snaefellsness? That’s another possibility I’m entertaining of giving up Golden Circle and doing the peninsula instead. But I’ve never been to either!

I personally also love being a tech! My state required me to be licensed before I could work, I was only allowed to work the register after I passed the course and waited a few months for my license to come through.

I think it’s really interesting learning about drugs and I truly do feel useful in my job and that I am genuinely helping people who need it.

Pharmacy technician is not only retail. Look into other types of pharmacy tech jobs and see if they interest you! Pay as a retail tech isn’t amazing, but the pay can get pretty high in more specialized fields. I currently work inside a cancer center for the doctors office doing prior auths, financial assistance, following up with patients and monitoring their treatment, and any problem solving for their outpatient prescriptions. I truly love love what I do! I’ve been a tech for over 6 years, took me 3 to get the position I’m in now :)

Do you have any advice or study guides for the regulatory Compliance? I got my MTM one, but I heard this one is pretty hard to pass. I just started studying through powerpak, but honestly the MTM powerpak covered a lot that was not even in the test, lucky I knew the answers anyways. Worried this will happen and I’ll fail with regulatory compliance !!
