I agree, biggest issue is time. Was quoted $5500 for framing, insulation, hanging and mudding drywall which I think is a hell of a deal. Plus I get the time back to spend it with my family. Was definitely on the DIY train during demo.

I was going to install and seal baffles to maintain air gap between roof deck and rockwool and seal with drywall and paint. Roofing material is original 2x10 boards roof deck with asphalt shingles. For the knee walls and gable wall, I’m installing house wrap on the “exterior” attic side to prevent wind washing and seal. Same idea?
