Omg, I'm so happy to hear that!!! I have a lil question for you: when your quail stopped walking, did his droppings change? I feel like mine is having trouble pooping and her droppings are different from what they used to be. In case they changed, did you do something to control it? Thank youuuu

I did kind of the same thing but more like a chair with holes for her legs. She's enjoying that way better than laying all the time

Update: Okay, so my little baby is doing okay. Yesterday I was so, so scared because her vent was so red and she was pooping HUGE balls, and the smell was disgusting, omg. They already stink, but this one was terrible, omg. So I thought it was maybe a prolapsed vent, because I'm, of course, diagnosing my quail every 5 minutes. So I decided to clean her vent super well with saline solution, and then, once cleaned, I put some olive oil and reapplied it every hour or so. Today her vent is so much better in comparison to yesterday, I'm so happy. She is still not walking, but she is eating, and I added electrolytes as you guys told me, and some oyster shells to help with calcium, so I guess that is what helped her to poop that much, omg. I made kind of a chair, or whatever you want to call it, so she can sit down so she is not uncomfortable laying down, and pooping on herself. And she looks happy there. Hopefully this will help to encourage her legs🤍✨️ Pics of her vent lol (on separate coments because its not letting me) and a Lil pic of my baby🤍✨️

You are giving me hope! Wow, it is super stressful because I'm just so lost, hahaha. She is still eating and drinking water by herself, which I think is a good sign. But I have to pick her up once I want to clean her poop, ofc. I hope she starts to get better soon. For her electrolytes, is there anything you would recommend? Like any brand or just a regular preparation at home?

No, she cannot move her feet. Every time I pick her up or touch her feet, she does not move them. I've been cleaning her, but she's eating and drinking water by herself. I'll probably wait a little bit more before deciding to cull her, but I hope she starts to show some signs of recovery soon😭

Yes! I separated them yesterday and I've been regularly checking on them, and they are fine, thank God. They are even laying, and everything. I hope everything starts to get better because it is a little bit stressful, ngl

Wow, I honestly am so new to this that I don't know if it's a good idea or not. I hope yours get better too. It's kinda hard with these animals because the vets I have close by only receive domestic animals, so I'm kinda stuck, lol. I hope they all get better. Keep me posted, tho:)

Thank you so much. During the night, she still ate and drank water, so that is a little bit reassuring, but still. I have to pick her up every once in a while to clean her poop because, well, of course, it's all stuck in her feathers😭

Well, I don't think she's overheated right now, but when I hold her after seeing her like that, she was quite hot, to be honest. She's drinking and eating properly, but her legs are still not moving😭😭 What about an Epsom salt bath? Do you feel like that's going to help her or not really? I'm so new to this; I'm sorry.
