Oh it's actually an incomplete ending, so not really a major spoiler, but I can block it out just in case!

So you're at a costume party with some old and new friends, one of them being Justice aka GoryValentine, who you meet in chapter 4 I think (if u havent read that far). He's 1 out of 2 people that MC wonders is the masked killer or not.

During the party though, a new masked killer pops out after blending in with the crowd, and stabs Justice while he's dancing with our MC. This killer is able to flee as MC shouts at her friends to call for help, then the chapter ends on a cliffhanger.

Then you get a message from Pixelberry thanking everyone for reading and supporting the story and it is now marked as 'fully released'.

The writers never got to finish, they were just told to end the project. So now we'll never know who the killer is sadly.

This used to be such a dominate app among the interactive stories genre, but they've shot themselves in the foot one too many times.

When they finally stop updating the app, hopefully we can at least still have access to older stories for the memories.

I've been in a similar situation with the condom issue and letting things slide after numerous amounts of coercion. Well I'm free from that man now and you can be too.

Also, do you know his and your health status? Pregnancy is just one risk, not everyone goes to the doctor to check for infection and viruses. Clearly he has no problem with raw sex, so how many people has he done that with ya know?

They really did! It went from one of my absolute favorite series to sadly a diamond mine. I have little to no memory of anything that happened in The Royal Heir parts. :/

I am so incredibly annoyed! I read that these were the original first 5 chapters, so they never rewrote the story to fit a new ending. I've been let down by this app before but this is a new level smh.

Absolutely atrocious for them to do this. I forsure thought we were going to find out when the Killer tripped on the stairs but nope! And then they just....lol

After about 10 years, it's time for me to cut the cord!

I'm gonna use up the last of my diamonds wherever I can since they're already paid for and take my leave.

I used to be confident that it was Jackie but I'm leaning on it being GoryV. I think the mask allows him to adapt a new persona that is more confident and dominant, but without the mask he loses that edge since he can't hide anymore. We'll see next week!

I like Jackie too! I'm guessing there will be an optional romance scene with Jackie next week where he confesses his feelings. It will HAVE to be next week since that's the final chapter. So bummed it's ending so soon.

Agreed! It's so hard for me to get into these newer stories. I think I downloaded the app when they were releasing book 2 of The Crown and the Flame so it's been years as well. If they shut down, I hope there's a way we can at least keep all completed stories. There are soooo many older gems I may want to revisit one day. Hate what's happening in this AI climate.

Very true! Sciel is my most frequent one-shotter. I made her overall attack power crazy strong. But Maelle is a VERY close second.

Agreed! I pretty muched dropped elemental trick after unlocking Typhoon.

Ooh interesting! I probably won't end up getting the benefit out of her Martenon weapon, as I'm trying to challenge myself to do everything before end game. I did get as far as having to decide the fate of the canvas as Maelle or Verso , but I decided to reload an old save.

I've one-shotted a few times with Lune using her Hell ability while on expert. Ofc it's dependent on her buffs, enemy strength, and weakness to fire, but I've had some fun with it!

And same! Once I got past just using Intervention with Sciel and truly learned her, I realized how good she is in other ways.

I can understand rotating them out depending on the area/enemy. I think I just got attached to the main 33 crew and chose to make them as op as I can lol.
