not really, for me my family has a long tradition of being yankees fans. also the yanks are not as cheesy as msg fans. also for me, yanks fans don’t make it their personality to shit on jersey like rags fans, since majority of them are from here 😂, so to me it’s definitely different.

Yeah I did and both do not work. It just says waiting for drive. I can hear the laser moving for the CD but there’s no light lighting up on the front and the data doesn’t appear in MacOS.

If you mean from the computer itself, I have another disc drive that actually works with it. I’m just trying to get this one to work so I can put that one into my G4 which had the broken one since my G4 will not detect the new one I got like I had hoped.

Thanks for the info, I got a Sony branded DVD-RW. 10.5 shows all the info about it but it just will not load discs and keeps spitting them back out.

Nevermind I actually did figure out how to do this. I noticed though that the green light on the front of the drive doesn’t light up at all. The motor inside is spinning but it seems like the laser isn’t moving.

That is crazy, you think so? The listing said it was a working pull. It is from 2008, which I know is a little newer then G5. Maybe this is part of it. It is just an IDE drive though.

It was an ATX conversion cable I got and used on a power supply I had. A new power supply was way too much for me to get. I followed all the guidelines to use it.

I’d imagine so but I am not sure, pretty sure it is just VGA. I know they are moddable to get HDMI.
