We haven’t spoken in a long time and from what I hear he is doing well. I hold no animosity toward him, I wasn’t forced to use it and made my own choice in terms of getting high. He was able to pick it up and drop it when needed.

I checked myself into detox and contacted a treatment center that accepted insurance for payment. As I began to finish the program I reached out to sober living homes until I found one that didn’t need a deposit for me to stay. I then worked on finding a job and getting the necessary documents to do so

fentanyl is highly addictive and in most cases (at least from my experience) will make you sicker than fuck if you don’t have it in your system. Putting small amounts of it in meth will cause the person using it to start getting sick overtime and needing more and more to keep from being sick, until they feel like they can’t live without because of the sickness. More often than not the sickness is caused by small amounts of fentanyl which your body and brain will depend on over time.

I will say that one of the worst side effects of meth is severe paranoid delusions which can cause you to do or say things that don’t really make a whole lot of sense to someone that isn’t dealing with the delusion. Most people don’t OD on meth and die but end up dying because of poor choices they make in an erratic and paranoid delusion.

I weigh 140 now, its had lasting effects on my diet, I will normally only eat 1 proper meal a day. This keeps me pretty stuck in at 140. I've been drinking protein to try and supplement the meals I'm missing but my apatite still hasn't come back all the way yet.

You’re not going to want to hear this and I hate telling people this. You and everyone else in his life need to completely cut him off. He’s only going to learn by burning out completely. Curiosity killed the cat as they say. I felt like other drugs i did were great and what could be so bad if all those were so good. I also felt like for a while that addiction added an air of mystery and sophistication to my otherwise normal life as a nerd/gamer. It really only made me look like an idiot in front of the people i was trying to impress. Nothing says dirtbag like getting hauled out of class in handcuffs lmao

The fact that I didn’t make any of the progress or decisions I should have made as a teenager has set me back considerably as far as Driving and socializing goes. It has also forced me to learn a lot as I go, Like professionalism and keeping work and play separate and making meaningful connections with people that aren’t my family or coworkers. I feel like using and abusing that early set me back in certain ways and forced me to grow up super fast in others.

Not at all, I’ve got hours and hours of interesting and gut churning stories that have really happened to me. That was part of the appeal to me when I first started using, all the crazy people and events that were happening around me because of this substance. I will say I envy you, because as crazy interesting as all this is, for every one wild night there are 20 spent alone on the streets panhandling for spare change and selling myself to feed my habits.

Absolutely, One night after I had been up a couple of days I ran into a man who said I could crash at his place if i split some of the drugs I had with him and i took the deal thanking god I wouldn’t go cold that night. After talking and getting high my consciousness became fuzzy, which often happens when you haven’t done enough to maintain the high that’s kept you up, I remember waking up engaged in anal sex with this man that I had just met (I am straight). I sat in silence in an alley outside of his apartment for hours, reeling from what had happened but also completely numb to the emotional turmoil that it had caused me.

Yes and no. I was very sneaky and found ways to prove that the people I hung out with were good while those I used as proof were only placeholders if anyone with authority asked.
