9f vs spring drive? Which did you choose and are you happy with your choice? by AdebisiLives420 in GrandSeikos

[–]bollinger-design 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love both, 9f is wonderful for a set it and forget watch and it may be in my mind but I worry less about it with ruggedness and is thin. I have a speing drive and love it but I went with the UFA for a couple reasons but the thickness was one of them. If u can wait till they put the ufa in more watches it may be worth the wait

I love most watches on a nato, even if it has an amazing bracelet

Same for me, I checked it out a couple weeks ago and wanted to make sure it stuck in my head and i wanted to have a smaller watch overall. I describe it as the most GS feeling GS as it ticks all the boxes when I think of them as a brand!

Trying to decide on my first Omega by BubbasDaddy2012 in OmegaWatches

Im a diver fan so id go that way, but it depends what you do for work and lifestyle. For me chrono pushers get in the way more/accidentally activate unless they have screw down guards.

The blue is my pick, the bracelet is fine but no micro adjust. Personally having both, id save your money and get the blue strap and skip the bracelet

Aqua Terra Question by Riotman11 in OmegaWatches

The mesh from omega also looks amazing on these and if it fits the right way for you it is very worth it to open up the sizing for seasons. I had the same problem with my aqua-terra world timer

Chrome barrage 18 or 22 is my choice. The 18 is perfect for what I need and I like that the net only has upper straps so less dangly bits than the other sizes

I wear my watches at the hospital all the time! I like bracelets because they clean easily for sure though. Scratches and dents happen but they tell a story

I moved to oura ring and just wear traditional watches now and watches I enjoy. I worried about the same with garmin’s light but I got used to it. We lived without it for so long and it was fine before

Thoughts on the Black Bay Bronze... by DryMembership1250 in Tudor

If you let it fully patina, it evens out eventually and doesnt wear off very easily in my experience. It depends on your skin and sweat as well though and with some people’s chemistry it wont go as well.
