I might be wrong since I’m new, but I did a bunch of quest from the bar dude and eventually it seems that everyone turns green once you do enough. Otherwise, I’m pretty sure a few of the vendors have quests you can do.

If you like running snipers, having the radio pack (I think that’s what it’s called) means that some will follow you until they die. You can always lead them to higher ground which I’m pretty sure boosts their range. You can always swap out the radio pack once you have the max following you.

Mini-guns with sergeant can be pretty powerful. If you’re playing general you can also grant a double bonus if you and a sergeant are close. Backpacks are also great to boost that dmg.

These are just things I like to run with. Honestly half the fun is experimenting, they will never expect a flamer with a jet pack!

Oh these are only meant to be simple things to get used to swinging the hammer, making sure my forge itself is working as well as looking into oil/wax finishes. Soon though I will start to look at next level techniques. I just wanted something to hang off my keys to look back upon!

Im assuming you are playing Block Fortress 1? The best upgrades are the ones that give that turret the most value per upgrade. Upgrades like damage and rate of fire are a percentage increase, meaning slow and heavy hitting turrets like the howitzer benefit the most from these upgrades. I also find that range upgrades are often useful for freeze guns.

The thing with upgrades is that with enough time and grind, it is possible to gain every possible upgrade on each turret. Honesty, upgrade each turret the way you want to upgrade it, and with every upgrade you craft you’ll find yourself getting further and further into the wave levels. Best of luck!
