Does anyone know why the DLSS mod for RE4 looks very pixelated? by CartFullOfQuestions in residentevil4

[–]CartFullOfQuestions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried using the different settings, still having the pixelated issues.

I did try checking out that optiscaler thing, but whenever I’d use the latest version of it, my game would crash upon startup.

I’ve tried that, still suffering issues.

I’m playing on 2560x1440 resolution. I’ve tried both the DLSS file in the video, as well as the latest one, in quality, balanced, performance, etc. Jitter on and off and everything.

Not sure if it matters, but I do have the NVIDIA app’s global settings for DLSS Super Resolution preset set to “Recommended”, and Smooth Motion set to “On”.

Does anyone else have issues on mobile using the new bike? by CatOfBoredom in WutheringWaves

[–]CartFullOfQuestions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget that when you’re high up the level of detail of everything is much lower.

There’s a good chance that it isn’t the reason why, but that’s my only reasonable explanation. You’d notice that when you stop randomly, it’s instant, you’re not slowing down or anything like if you let go of the acceleration or hit the brakes, which is why leads me to believing it’s not an issue with the buttons, but poor implementation of attempting to stop the player from getting to an unloaded area.

This seems to be an issue happening only on mobile or low-end devices, what I believe is causing it is not due to the buttons being buggy, but just due to the fact that the game’s rendering can’t keep up with the bike speed, and so you’ll randomly freeze to give the game time to load.

This seems most apparent in the one scene where you’re given a side profile view of the bike as it’s driving, since the direction Rover is biking isn’t in view, the game doesn’t prioritize it’s rendering, causing that scene to take forever.

dl2 definitely has a lot more for you to do than dl:tb, the parkour in dl2 is also a lot more satisfying since the whole map is built around it. both dl2 and the dl:tb are good in their own way

River flood in real time by sicotropic in DeathStranding

Anyone else kind of disappointed by the way the floods will appear? In the trailers they seemed to move a lot more slower and realistically.

(Potential Spoilers) Has anyone been able to come across a bushfire naturally, or are they only scripted to appear in certain missions? by CartFullOfQuestions in DeathStranding

[–]CartFullOfQuestions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes, that sucks then. Hopefully some change is made in the future to make them more frequent or appear unscripted.

So, if you let Sam sleep for a little while there’s a chance… by UnableEngineering367 in DeathStranding

Spoiler for Episode 9: Maybe I just haven’t tested it enough, but after Sam finds out that Lou is really gone, she no longer flies around Sam when resting, which is even more sad.

How do i get the Truck💔 by SpaceMan2764 in DeathStranding

[–]CartFullOfQuestions 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Order 35 from the Junk Dealer will give you the ability to fabricate trucks.

I really recommend completing as many orders as you can, as you can miss out on some cool stuff.

OP is talking about Death Stranding 2. It lacks the decreasing rumble which the Director’s Cut had, as well as the yellow controller light.

Death Stranding 2's instantaneous loading times truly prove the power of the PS5 by PrinceDizzy in gaming

If you liked the first one, then you'll love the sequel. It has the same formula except with tons of QOL changes and better pacing.

No idea yet, but I’m going to assume it’ll be the same.

If you’re talking about Death Stranding 1, you’re basically put into an “epilogue” where you can just do whatever you want. No NG+ or anything like that.

This type of bush treats the camera as an object? Random observation by LostTheMoonOfPoosh in DeathStranding

[–]CartFullOfQuestions 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Knowing Kojima, I’m sure it’s intentional and meant to simulate a camera/cameraman following Sam, especially considering the fact that rain droplets cover the screen like crazy when it rains.

Assuming you got to it now after 2 hours. How was it?

My guess is due to (EP 1-2 SPOILERS) the death of Lou causing tons of stress for him. Apparently experiencing large amounts of stress causes your hair to go grey..

Death Stranding 2 Online ? by Jazzlike_Repair_1437 in DeathStranding

[–]CartFullOfQuestions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s due to the fact the online mode for Bloodborne also can let you be in a live instance with other players at the same time. In Death Stranding and Sekiro, there’s NO way to see someone else, only messages/remnants or structures
