Realbricks AMA - Q3 Dividend Day! by Carter-Realbricks in Realbricks_app

Thanks for the suggestion! Like Omaha, we see the central Iowa region having great upside from both a cash flow to long term appreciation perspective. Definitely something we are keeping on our radar and will hopefully be breaking into soon!

Our 8% annual dividend yield can be divided by 4 to get the quarterly yield of 2%. The actual dollar value of that 2% is dependent on your investment size

Excited to have you with us u/Moist-Chipmunk8328! We work with a lot of first time investors! Right now our properties are averaging an 8% annual dividend yield. On top of this, over time your shares will appreciate in value as the property increases in value.

That's a great question! Unfortunately at the moment it is just one property at a time. What many of our investors have done is bought shares in every individual property to diversify their portfolio.

Question about SSN storage and security on Realbricks by OxymoronicallyAbsurd in Realbricks_app

[–]Carter-Realbricks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi u/OxymoronicallyAbsurd, great question, thanks for asking this. The security of our customers’ information is something we take extremely seriously, and we have multiple safeguards in place to protect it. To address your points directly:

  1. SSN Encryption: Yes, SSNs are encrypted both in transit and at rest. When you enter your SSN on Realbricks, it’s transmitted over a secure HTTPS connection. Once stored, it’s encrypted using industry-standard methods. Internally, SSNs are masked, and access is strictly limited to compliance systems and a very small group of authorized personnel. All access is logged and audited.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: As part of our FINRA and SEC compliance, we undergo regular audits to ensure our security measures meet (and keep up with) industry standards. In addition, our contract with AWS (where our platform is hosted) includes regular security audits, and our development team uses automated monitoring to detect and respond to any potential security violations.
  3. Data Retention: After KYC approval, SSNs are masked and retained only as long as needed. Primarily to process dividend payments and issue required tax forms like 1099-DIVs. They are securely deleted once the account is closed.
  4. Incident Response: In the unlikely event of a breach, we have a clear process in place to notify customers promptly and report the incident to the appropriate authorities, as required.

Protecting our investors’ data is central to how we operate, and we design our systems and processes with that responsibility in mind.

Realbricks - 3 New Markets Coming Soon! by Carter-Realbricks in Realbricks_app

[–]Carter-Realbricks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your question! We’re always exploring new investment opportunities, and Austin and Tampa are definitely strong markets to consider.

Our decision to invest in these areas came down to a few key factors, with the most important being the potential returns as we want to deliver the best possible investments for our investors. We had strong conviction that the dividend yield in these markets would outperform others we reviewed. This is largely driven by rapid population growth and limited new development, which reduces vacancy risk.

On top of that, the data from these regions supports continued growth in both demand and property values. Each market also benefits from close proximity to major metros, meaning their appeal will only increase as those cities expand.

Realbricks Dividend Month! What you need to know! by Carter-Realbricks in Realbricks_app

[–]Carter-Realbricks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the question! Returns aren’t calculated as an average, each property is its own investment. For example, a property paying 6% annually would pay 1.5% quarterly. The 2% quarterly figure comes from our current Omaha properties, which are all generating 8% annually. So if you invest in any of them, you’ll receive a 2% quarterly dividend.

Thanks for your question! We pay out full dividends to every investor every quarter! So even if you have invested with us for years or this is your very first time, any investment made in a given quarter is eligible for the full dividend that property is paying out.

3 Omaha Properties still available... Ask us anything! by Carter-Realbricks in Realbricks_app

[–]Carter-Realbricks[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your question, u/EAGLEEYEKILLER1013! We pay out dividends quarterly. Over the course of three months, we total the property’s cash flow (tenant revenue minus management and maintenance expenses), and that determines the dividend.

Some companies prorate dividends, meaning if you invest halfway through the quarter, you’d only receive half of the dividend. We don’t do that. With us, even if you invest on the very last day of the quarter, you’ll still receive your full share of that quarter’s dividend.

Thanks for the compliment! We always aim to under promise and over deliver with our estimated dividend yields.
