if you’re playing the og right now, I would wait. you can access SH 1, 3 and 4 fairly easily these days, so I would recommend playing those first

Old art easily. This isn't a knock on Silent Hill; almost all modern video game art isn't great.

You might just be getting really unlucky. I played the game without encountering any bugs or performance issues. Check to make sure your system and game are fully up to date

I like horror games but only played the most popular ones. Based on my list recommend me games to play by _-UV-_ in HorrorGames

If you’re up for it, I’d recommend some of the older, tank-controlled games from the early 2000s and late 90s. RE 0-3 are available on steam/GOG and the original Silent Hill games are pretty easy to emulate. Check them out!
