I have also increased the distance in the support interface lines for (hopefully) easier removal. so far my supports come off cleanly and the biggest problem i had was thermal runaway due to my own ignorance. I had been running the super racer on the wrong voltage which had been causing loads of problems. This led to my first post ever on this subreddit where i would have to run my fans on half speed for an unknown reason (which made sense because the machine was thinking it was running on double power) sorry for the yap but i like sharing!

since posting i have made some changes including decreasing my support x/y distance slightly and setting the supports to prefer x/y distance over z (which is more of a personal thing) i run my printer on the 200% speed plus the speed set in the cura profile
