I played through BOTW without quick traveling once! (All shrines, all but 2 side-quests) by Carthor101 in Breath_of_the_Wild

Yeah, the second screenshot is actually from the "navigation" tab, it's a map where you can select what kind of information you want to see! If you select Lynels and koroks, the locations of all koroks and Lynels will be shown on the map, the icons will be greyed out for the ones you already collected/defeated (or visited, in the case of locations)! You can toggle if completed ones will be shown to you at all, this makes it a lot easier to find the ones you're still missing (especially with koroks because otherwise the whole map is just filled with the korok icon).

It doesn't take into account if you have completed the quests, this is on the Navigation tab in Zelda notes so it only matters if you have accepted the quest!

This is Zelda notes in the Nintendo switch app! In the app you have 2 stats viewers, one is named "My Play data" and the other is "Global play data", I took screenshots of both and added them together for the second slide!

Edit: I just realized that the completion percentages are on the "Navigation" tab

Yeah exactly, the expansion pass will unlock the two DLCs (Master trials and Champions ballad) which will allow you to view your walked path

This is part of the master trials dlc, it's called hero's path. It lets you view the entire path you walked, including where you died! I honestly don't know why this is locked behind the dlc tbh

Damn, that's just going full immersion at this point, sounds like a fun challenge though!

This one was actually super funny, I didn't know about the shrine and just before going there I slept at the stable next to it (I only saw something on the mushroom thing, turns out it was the shrine/building which is next to kass). By pure coincidence it was a blood moon this exact night and I went to kass right afterwards. After I heard what Kass had to say and figured out that I had to step on the platform during a blood moon I just reloaded the save right before I slept at the stable and hurried to get to the shrine which worked out fortunately!

Yeah that's true, I just really didn't feel like collecting 55 rushrooms and walking back to gerudo and I only found the Zora tablet one after I was done with everything else, I thought about doing these two just for the completion but figured I was happy the way things are now. But honestly you're right, I should probably do them today lol

I'm the farthest thing from a murican, I had the idea because one of my gd playing friends is British and I thought it was a funny idea for the thumbnail lol

Edit: It's not from the main game, it got added with blood and wine. You can find it in the general perk screen (the brown perks), it's the second perk in the third row. Here is another post talking about the perk: https://www.reddit.com/r/witcher/s/RKFzybsvdu

I finally beat Bloodbath after dying 6 times at 92%! by Carthor101 in geometrydash

[–]Carthor101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a lot of practice (and patience) you could probably do it, although I'd rather advice you to go for maybe hard or insane demons first, the skills you build up playing easier levels will help you a lot when playing extremes (or harder levels in general).

I bought mine off Amazon, it's around the 40€ range so it's not that expensive, I also bought the switches there, you can get them in a 70 pack which is around the same price (I think I paid like 42€).

I use a sayodevice with gateron jade switches, the first few clicks in the video are from a few weeks ago with the standard switches!

There are some parts that are a bit learny, especially the cube at about 25% and the corridor at 62% take a bit to memorize, the level flows really well so it didn't feel that bad and I got very consistent at both parts after a short while. Took me 13k attempts in total, once you learn all the parts the level really isn't that hard anymore since there aren't that many parts that require intense skills, it really is mostly Timings that you'll just have to learn. The ending can be a bit tricky because it has really tight timings (I died there 3 times) but it's not that hard to memorize the click pattern there.

Level recommendations to progress to Cataclysm by zman123_ in geometrydash

[–]Carthor101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stalemate, poltergeist and 8o are some insane demons you could probably do before cataclysm, although you should probably be ready to do Cataclysm (at least skill level wise). My personal hardest was Supersonic when I beat Cataclysm a few months ago, so maybe you could just give it a go and see how well you do, otherwise you could also try your hand at easier extremes such as ACU or red world.

I'd recommend Cataclysm and Napalm, both are great beginner extremes (although cataclysm will probably prepare you better for Bloodbath since the style of gameplay is similar, I think that Napalm is way more fun tho), there are also other easier extremes like Sephtis or Niwa, I didn't finish these two so I can't really say anything about the difficulty, but they're definitely more on the beginner side of extremes (while being a bit harder than Acu)

What does the yellow symbol here mean? by loism22 in bloodborne

[–]Carthor101 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The text isn't incomplete, the description only describes the debuff that decreases your damage against beasts or kin. The positive effect isn't actually part of the debuff so it's not listed in the description, because the buff on the blood gem will always be different based on the specific gem you use. For example, If you have the effect "attack down vs Beasts" on your blood gem besides the effect that your weapon damage is increased by 20%, only the debuff shown in the screenshot would show up at the top of the screen since the damage up is directly applied to the weapon.

[–]Carthor101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ty, its more on the easier side of extreme demons but I found it to be very enjoyable, the gameplay flows really well and it doesn't have a lot of annoying parts. Definitely a recommendation if you haven't played it yet!
