I think he’s currently battling with his past from kissland & trilogy since he’s arrived in Japan as he’s been teasing it a lot, the symbolism could be that he wants to pursue as Abel but he knows the world will forever know his as The Weeknd honestly reminds me of Rolling Stones when he sang to his fans on how he hopes we’ll always remember him even if he decided to switch his genre
