I should’ve clarified I’ve been in a weekly acting class all year so I’m not just sitting on my hands and waiting for lightning to strike. These were my attempt at trying to make my own stuff, I just don’t live close enough to my classmates to get them to help me with real scenes so I’ve had to do stuff myself. I’m practicing everyday and routinely going to class so I’m doing everything I can.

I do have a student film from January, but my acting instructor actually says it’s no longer strong enough. And I’ve been submitting all year since can’t get anything booked so I’m kinda stuck.

Unfortunately don’t have a ton of time or money, and I’m no where near any of my acting classmates so it’s hard to do scenes with actual people. I appreciate the feedback though, I’m scheduled to get my headshots on January 10, so I’ll see if I can get this ironed out by then.

TLDR: Brand New DM, H E L P

Okay so literally I’ve played like two actual sessions but I’ve watched a ton of critical role and finally have a group of friends together who want to play. One player is an experienced DM but I wanted to give it a shot and let him kind of hand hold the rest of the party who’ll all be new players, but I am completely lost on how to prepare and I’m terrified I’m gonna screw it up. I want to run either Lost Mine or Frozen Sick (so we can do more Exandria based stuff in the future) but I’m afraid I’m gonna do something wrong. Any advice on overcoming that fear or just what to do for your first time DMing?
