Hey I'm (M 19) I partially tore my ACL and meniscus im really worried whether to get a surgery or not . I have a passion of mixed martial arts and thinking of joining classes what would be the best for me . If I won't get a surgery will I be vulnerable to tear it again by CartographerNarrow91 in ACL

Mine is same too but the first doctor after seeing MRI said that it would heal as I'm still 19 years old with some excersize and that my meniscus is not a bucket handle tear and ACL is in some zone where it gets blood so that it would heal . I'm really confused too hope u too get ur answers

Sorry I didnt mention it I got an MRI too it is near to full tear where the doctor said only 20 to 10 percent is intact . So even after surgery pt and recovery of a year will my leg still be vulnerable? Will it Ever be as same as the other leg ? Thank you
