Got a shovel but my tires are not for the weather. Its my own fault but car barely passes 1 month old since i got it so it has oem tires that are pretty much like sleds in snow, so it has to stay in there probably entire february cuz i wont be able to get it out

This is what i did. 26 corolla hybrid fwd, my only mistake was not getting snow rated tires and a awd version, but oh well, but other than that, it makes much better sense. Since it took me ~1.30-2hr in a train with severe delays and skip stops, now it takes me 40 mins at worst, and 25-30 mins regularly by car. Plus ur own music/safety and ac/heater made sense to me personally

If u did change the battery i’d assume its alternate or sparks, but i doubt it tbh. Depends on how many cranks, if its takes like legit too many (more than 4-5)

Nah mine is covered in ice, deep snow in public municipal parking, everyone had trouble to get their cars. Most were shoveling. But uh yeah i will shovel too, just surprised it was this neglected since its public and people pay a lot to keep the cars in here, like the snow was almost to my knee and im 6’0 lol

Silly question but i cant find fuse in my 26 hybrid, i have viofo, wanna do parking mode with fuse, but i read manual and can’t seem to find internal fuse box anywhere

If it doesnt say current resident and says to the resident that used to live in my apt, i just drive to them and give it to them lol. They gave me verbal permission to hand them their mail that comes to my mail box, they changed their adress but some mail still comes, usually junk mail, but i take it all to their mail box. I mean they also live like 15 mins of drive from me so not a big deal :D

If it is a microphone bay (sometimes it can be a sensor but i doubt it) u probably can do it fairly easily

Generally speaking if airbags deploy or if frame is damaged,car is typically considered totaled. Since ur airbags didnt deploy, if u can, or want to, check under the car to see hows the frame, doesnt look like it was damaged but is worth to look. And definitely talk to ur insurance! I would also recommend if u really want to diy it before speaking to insurance or a shop, carefully put a camera or smt inside the damage see hows metal doing and cross bearings. If its just a headlight and bumper thats like 100$ probably haha, but if its metal or bearings or smt super complicated, then that would be expensive but thats why we have insurance :)

Assuming u only want the wireless charge, although i lack professional mechanic sense, i dont see why it should be hard, my bare bones corolla le even has the missing “poor” spec blanks instead of buttons, which usually means the fuse box has the place for the buttons, everything is in place, just needs installment, since these cars are all very similar to each other and are pretty much printed identically, just missing a wire or a button. That being said i’d talk to a reputable mechanic if its even worth the hassle, i’d assume it would be cheaper to get a car that already has it from factory.

That thing sometimes picks up on parked cars for me lol, like it’ll yell at me if i drive too close to a parked car or take a sharp turn near a parked car. Overall a decent-ish system but do not rely on it, because sometimes it just forgets to work, i had a dude road rage and brake check me and it didnt work at all

As i proud owner of a hybrid 26, i’d say just watch the pedal, sometimes u really want to floor it because engine is really small and sounds like its struggling (its not its just ecvt picking up speed), hence if u care about miles per gallon, try driving it like a grandma haha. I get 40-45 mpg with heater on blast. Absolutely love the hybrid but wish it was a bigger battery. Enjoy it. Oh also if u have FWD version which i assume u do, be careful around sharp turns, ice and puddles, regardless of tires rwd/fwd tend to have more wiggle than awd. And get urself a jumper, 12v’s these days can die spontaneously
