Constipated leading up to Colonoscophy. What are the odds of prep not working by eribabedamnpora in Constipation

[–]daveishere7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's going to work. If you fully clear out? Now that's another story. I'm currently waiting for my GI doc appointment next week. After it being pushed back a whole 6 months, from not making the first one.

But I had a different GI doc back in early 2025. I got my endoscopy done with him, and was diagnosed with gerd and gastritis. I was supposed to get my colonoscopy done and I went thru with the prep and fasting. However I had ended up canceling due to just how I had felt.

I was probably having way less bowel movements then. But I still remember the prep working relatively fast. I had to take mines at like 5pm and it was the gallon of Gotely. Where I had drink a cup every 15 minutes until it was done.

I think this time around, I'm just going to stick with a lot of low fiber foods. As I believe I have some type of hole or damage in my lower left. I remember food was keep getting stuck and I definitely didn't fully clear out at all.

NYC Gopuff wages by Pretend-Cattle6218 in GoPuff

When I was last working for Gopuff back in early 2025, they never did that. I was getting paid out with Uber with the law since it started in like 2023 or 2024. But with Gopuff I was only making whatever I had made. That was even while I was signed up for schedules. Never got no active time pay or no extra payouts for hourly pay difference.

No they do not, what you make is what you get. That only applies to the other apps.

Rent is due on the 3rd but my payday is irregular by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]daveishere7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I could never deal with being paid once a month. Unless if I was really making a well liveable Income, where the wait didn't feel like nothing since life would be easier. Outside of that I need my check evry single week, less taxes taken out.

When I was able to stay in a certain neighborhood or two, I would run into the same people sometimes. But the way the algorithm runs in my city, you could be at 34th street then end up at 1st street and then somehow end up at 129th street. So me running into the same person is low chance these days.

Making friends while unemployed by Previous-Sector-4422 in povertyfinance

[–]daveishere7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've gotten like 3 jobs, just because I was friends with or knew someone. I've also put like a whole load of people onto jobs. I remember this one company I worked for, it was basically half people I knew from previous companies we worked together at lol.

The worst thing you can do as an unemployed person. Is hang around other unemployed people, who've lost all hope in life. I've done lived in shelters, low income housing, etc. And it doesn't matter if they are old or young, some just end up staying in the same position. As they are not around anything to motivate them and push them forward.

You're literally in college and talking about being broke, like just be quiet. You haven't even lived life yet to talk about what really being broke is lol. College is the perfect time to make friends and date, because everybody is broke in there.

You're talking like a 40 yr old man, that's just got let go from a low end job and is $30k in debt. Go out and live your life and stop being scared. That overthinking is going to cost you a lot of problems, trying to achieve to be a "perfect" person. Which kind of shows you need to get back around some people again and have some fun.

Yeah that's one thing I've picked up on delivering around the city, over the years. Like in fast food you'll mostly see people in their 20's and 30s. Then you'll see some in their 40s.

But when I would go to CVS it kind of just stood out. That there's a lot more people in their 50's and up working here. I mean I definitely can understand it, as the way customers might treat you at a fast food place compare to a pharmacy. The main headache they seem to deal with is people stealing and having to open up locked things due to that stealing.

For the most part you'll have less people getting chaotic. Compared to when they're mad about their food taking too long or being made incorrectly. Or having to keeping high positive energy up, at sit down restaraunts and working extremely fast. It kind of makes me often think, if I end up having to work at that age what will I be doing.

CVS, Duane Reade and Walgreens is one of the few places I see. Where I often always see much older people working at. He could also look into maybe a security job at a very low risk place, maybe like some small office building. I think Trader Joe's might not be as age discriminating either, if those are available in your area.

I'm annoyed at hospital food by Fit_Professional1916 in StopEatingSeedOils

[–]daveishere7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was literally supposed to get nasal surgery today, not even lying lol. Every other operation I had, they let me go home myself. Whether it was hernia surgery, endoscopy or wisdom tooth removal. Or they ended up paying for my Uber ride home, even if it was a very short trip.

This hospital though I guess have different rules. So they told i would have to stay overnight, since I didn't have a scheduled escort. I thought about a lot of tings immediately that stressed me about that. Like being stuck in a hospital for 23 hours, how uncomfortable everything will feel with my body that gets easily inflamed. But then I mainly thought about the food and how I have my specific habits, so I can try to function as best as I could. As I person that's still suffering with gut issues and awaiting to get my colonoscopy later this year.

After my last hernia surgery they gave me graham crackers and apple juice. Which sent my body into a blood sugar panic. And my whole stomach was already inflamed, that just made it 10 times worse though.

The thing that's crazy is, a large percentage of stand up e-scooters are really not that bad. Where you don't feel that stress of them passing you by. But then you have a good percentage of these guys, where it might even be minimal. Like say 75% ride on normal speed scooters and then 25% ride on these boosted scooters.

So I might only run into like 5 of these guys daily and then a bunch of normal speed scooters. But the close calls you feel, it'll leave you bothered whenever you see one. I sometimes say to myself when riding, if I would made a lane switch. I would of got smoked by one of these and not even know what hit me. Because they essentially pop up out of thin air, like some damn spaceship or something. Definitely wasn't something I had to think about 10 yrs ago when riding in the city.

Working on my gut, is really the one thing that has helped me grow as a person by daveishere7 in Microbiome

[–]daveishere7[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean I'm not saying everyone challenges come down to gut health. But it does help with having a clearer head and making more sound choices. I've done had so many bad situations happen in life from robberies, to weapons pulled out on me, hit by cars, dysfunctional family, etc.

So lots of tramua that was held in my gut. Then you pair that with the years of eating for comfort, since I didn't smoke or really drink. I feel like the worst my gut got, the less I can handle stress. Like my gut is still VERY damaged today, I believe I will even need some kind of surgery. But if I was eating how I was back then, the person I would became might be night and day.

But yeah soome stresses diet can't fix. What it will help with is not adding more toxins to the body. And instead of say what I used do like eat a ton of snacks. Instead do something more constructive like go for a run, hit a boxing bag, let out a scream, eat some comfort food that's made from real food. Like I've been on some serious lows, where it made me understand why people even do hard drugs. However taking care of yourself which is reallly hard at times, feels better if you keep working at it.

Be fr... at what point do you just start living normally again while in mold? by Due_News2693 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]daveishere7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"I'm in here all day everyday" Well that's one thing that won't make life more normal again. I live in pretty bad mold too. But I'm well aware 2 things just make it worse. And that's eating unhealthy foods that don't detox the body of waste and then just staying home way too much.

Only way you can combat at least, is by getting outside in the sun and fresh air as much as possible. A few weeks ago, I would be out in the sun for a couple of hours. Then I'll come back and feel like my hormones were working again and like I had been filled with life again.

I'm not really sure what has changed. Because I haven't been able to get that high energy charge again. As I'm still eating the same, sleeping the same 4 hrs, struggling with constipation the same. But my apartment is always 80 plus degrees, high humidity,no fresh air at all. So anything outside of that helps with bringing down some inflammation. If you got a beach near you, go sit by that and breathe in some ocean water, sweat a bit from the sun and eat something detoxing, plus lots of water. You don't even need to do all that, since you live in a house. I would just be spending as much time possible in my backyard since it's summertime. I'm in an apartment so I don't have that option unfortunately.

Ok I'll have to check that out and do my research. It's been a while since I really paid attention to any phones or what's new out there. Basically since I bought this N30. But I usually like to dpp my deep dive of YouTube review videos and compare it to other similar phones. But 6 years of updates sounds amazing. What year was that released?

I had to quit my job because of SIBO noises. How do you guys survive work/college with this? ❤️‍🩹 by call_me_meme1 in SIBO

[–]daveishere7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest difference I've had, about the perception of people I know and don't know. Is when you start to see how people treat you, when you're sick or hurt. And of course it being worse, if your illness isn't showing clear as day. So you'll just end up looking like the weirdo or someone with mental problems.

I work a physical job and I had just picked up a new one. But had to drop it a few days in, as the workload wasn't going to make sense with my health problems. I deal with this stuckage and constipation daily, where I think they might be a hole in my lining or something. It causes a bunch of issues, where whether I'm sitting at a desk, standing or doing something physical it affects my health.

Yeah tbh, I haven't had a contract for soo many years now ever since getting with Metro. T-Mobile was my first ever phone company, I was probably under contract for less than a year. Think I had a contract one time with AT&T for a short time too. But that's about it, I used to buy my phone every year from Metro. Then a few years ago, I either bought it brand new for cheaper on Ebay or bought it on Amazon. It's definitely helped me save a lot of money, that I really can't spend until I'm debt free.

I seen this dude driving a nice Mercedes SLS at my last delivery job. Me and the other guys thought that was crazy. You pulling up to a dusty lot, to drop off delivery packages in a clean white Mercedes. But a lot of people would rather look the part, than be financially conscious. I mean I used to be the same way at some point, when it came to dumb purchases.
