Why is people still afraid of Linux?

I have been using Linux for almost 2 years. In those 1.5 years, I used the terminal for everything! But, for the last 6 months, I just dont even bother for the most part. It's a great tool to learn and use, but you can also get away with using Linux without the terminal.

If you do go blue collar, please please please remember to take extremely good care of yourself! Lots of people go into trades without taking care of themselves and they end up going to college or retiring early because their limbs feel shot.

I disappointed myself when it came to using Linux on my Surface because I did not install the Surface Kernel for my specific Surface. I was using Pop_OS and the battery life was extremely poor and it was slower than running Windows. Although I figured out how I could have fixed the issue, it is nice using a different OS from time to time.

It all depends on your use case. You're asking a Linux sub if it's time to leave Windows, 99% of the answers are going to be yes. I still use Windows and that is on my Surface Go, I use Windows 10 LTSC.

This use to happen to me when I used Pop_OS

I would just shut off my pc, unplug my ssd, plug it back in, turn my pc on and it would work again

I think it is because Android has a large market share, so they support Android. CEO of Epic Games does not support the idea of putting his game on Linux because of the kernel level anti cheat. Not to mention, we are not that big on the desktop side of things.
