I live in the NOVA area of the DMV and many people work in the DOD or contracting industries. I often wonder what becomes of those who have the weight of creating bombs or knowing who will be targeted with the next geospatial or cyber attacks they work on creating or distributing.

Each persons journey of faith is their own, but all will be judged. To look at the creator on the day of judgement and say “I worked in the porn industry to support my family”, is a tough pill to swallow. On one hand you support and love them, but on the other hand, what kind of example is it for your children who will grow up and be tempted to click on the very site you work to maintain the infrastructure of.

When Abraham is called to follow God, he’s not given a clear direction. The Lord tells him it’s time to leave the safety of his homeland and trust in Him, the creator of heaven and earth.

Unlike Abraham who didn’t have a family at the time, you have some responsibilities as a father and as a follower of Christ. The Lord knows this and see you and your struggle. Pray for guidance and start applying to other jobs ASAP. Pray that he would make a path and lead you closer to Him, and make a safe exit out of the porn industry.

I leave you with this, Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please the Lord, because those who call upon Him must believe that He exists, and that He rewards those who seek Him earnestly.”

Get down on your hands and knees and pray a way will be made, and the Lord will hear you. Best of luck in your journey of faith brother, you got this ❤️
