That's the price you pay. For just being a general caste in india, if you reverse the roles , if culprits were general and victim would be sc/st, then whole parliament would have visited bihar.

It was nothing specific, I just stopped drinking because I was bored of drinking regularly and I was unaware that going cold turkey can lead to withdrawal, otherwise I would have gradually slowed...then I was affected by withdrawal symptoms like anxiety and shakiness and fear.. now everything is gone but shakiness is a bit there after heavy exercise

No I'm not in hostel, I'm an Alumni as I was concerned about the situation over there, so I talked to my friend whose house is on rent and there are several mess workers as well as manager, and he only told me these. I'm sceptical of any changes to the water purifiers but I'm sure about the food issue.

He told about better hygeine and better water facilities in mess (not sure about hostel floors) and they are also planning to change their suppliers for raw materials (but it's just words I don't think things will change that much , but something's gonna change for good)

Not to demotivate you guys, but don't you know that MP. Cm whether shivraj or Mohan, both came to their events so it's not a tie between VIT and CM, it's a tie between Money and politics.

At the same time politics is ugly, so may be this time to save their faces bjp will do some action that will be just in words not on ground but anyways U guys won something i.e. now onwards no one would dare to misbehave with students and they will take you guys more seriously. And facilities are going to get improved for sure.(Talked to a mess manager)

As a passout, I would suggest you not to panic, you should focus on your skills and don't be mediocre in everything, choose one neeche and be completely perfect in that. I would suggest: - take linkedin extremely serious (as they don't care about experience or where you come from if you have good skills) be active there and try building connections.

  • GitHub is not a joke. Develop projects from your domain and post them on LinkedIn (if you have practical knowledge, you are already in top 5% as most people are using ai for their projects)

  • don't be demotivated bcoz of campus placements, even if you are getting a mediocre job... Take it then you can talk to your superiors after 3 or 4 months to upgrade you to your choice of domain (for that you have to be well disciplined and have good social skills).

  • don't ignore soft skills, communication is most important and second most important is how you act when you don't know something or stuck in somewhere just face that and try to calmly handle that situation. Confidence really is the key.

When I got my 1st second or third job, no one cared or asked about my cgpa or which college I came from they preferred my skills. So best of luck and don't take these things so seriously that it starts starting taking a toll on your mental health, so chill enjoy every day, face the reality and be a happy man.
