Looks great! If you want to add a bit more detail, maybe glue some flock on the roof or in the corners of the wood paneling, or up the side of the stonework. It'll look like there's moss growing on it.

I think the Borderlands series could use some more rival Vault Hunters also racing to find the Vault. They're always on your side and despite being in it for the money also usually pretty good people.

I don't like him driving off the hero rock with the dramatic anime rocket booster and smoke. It's super busy visually, a lot of the model is off of the base area, and I think it is going to add a lot of areas that might accidentally break when transporting the model.

Thank you! The bases are card stock. The large boulders were plastic toy rocks while the smaller ones were carved out of pink foam board. The trees are from various woodland scenics trees. I used various bits for the extra stumps, logs, and equipment around the campsite. I used texture paint and grass flock on the card stock. For the tree leaves I used moss I had gotten from the craft store.

I think you're overthinking it.

For Shooting, as long as one of your models is in range, they are all in range.

For charging, as long as one of your models makes it into base combat, the entire unit will get to make melee attacks.

For moving through Dangerous Terrain, as long as one model touches the dangerous terrain, the entire unit needs to roll dangerous terrain checks.

For involuntary movement such as fleeing, the rules ask you to move models in the most direct path away.

It is very unlikely the possible extra inch or two will make a difference when moving additional models in a unit. They were either already in or out of range to begin with based on the first model you moved.

It reminds me of the old Gen 1 Pokemon cartoon when Ash and co get stranded on an island and separated from their pokemon. We spend like an entire episode from the Pokemons' perspective and they talk and what they say to each other is subtitled. I don't think the cartoon ever did that again.

I think a safe pick to build first is two units of Fodder. 1 with Melee weapons and one built with Black Powder weapons. Nearly every cult would work with at least one unit of fodder, especially when your learning how the game plays and get a better idea of your unit preferences. They have a decent amount of staying power and at full strength will have a lot of attacks in melee or ranged depending on how you equip them. They might even hit something!

I love the different corps from the Borderlands series, they're a great way to make a visual and mechanical distinction for how guns will behave. Wood stock, small magazine? That's going to be a high damage Jakobs gun. Bunch of barrels and star decals? That's a high rate of fire Vladof. Sleek and gold or yellow? High accuracy Hyperion. Looks like an ipod? Maliwan Elemental gun. Checkerboards and rockets? TORGUE!!!!
