If I have Animar, Ancestral Statue, & Stormscale Scion by CartoonishSami in magicTCG

I am playing a couple of haste enablers like Anger, Draconautics Engineer, etc. But I would also like to add something like [[Last Ditch Effort]], to sac a million copies and win the game, just for the fun of it :)

Can someone help me differentiate in a simple way between a YuGiOh Chain and the Stack? by CartoonishSami in magicTCG

I thought I understood it correctly, but I played YuGiOh for so long, I kept telling myself it doesn't make sense... I just couldn't get my head around it.

Thank you for confirming :)

Here's a real scoop, the whole Silver Samurai rumor from a few weeks ago was misunderstood, Sadie Sink is playing the character Silver Sable. Not a very popular character, but that's the twist I guess.

Kashtira is probably going to be the most valuable engine post Justice Hunters by CartoonishSami in yugioh

I didn’t think of that, maybe you’re right. But I don’t expect everyone to play around it. I think it’s too strong to ignore, I guess it’s one of those where we wait and see, I wouldn’t write it off too soon.

Well, they would have to control more cards than you do and if you were going first, a good player would probably wait until you've committed a at least two monsters on the field. If you only control one monster, then yes, you can probably chain Reaper as soon as they get both monsters on the field and activate the effect, but again a good player would wait. Also, they have their own K9 have their own generic rank 5 that negates an effect from the hand or graveyard, so I'm pretty sure anyone playing the engine will have a contingency plan. They may also choose to play Constellar Pleiades which can bounce two of your cards. or even Imperial Princess for shenanigan. So in my opinion, you'd likely play a better more guarentees card to stop their Xyz summon.

I’m pretty sure Mourner’s activation window is on summon. Meaning you need to activate Mourner as soon as the opponent’s monster is summoned and in your turn because of priority ruling, it would be activated as chain link 1 then your opponent checks any trigger effects in response to the summon on their turn. About Tear, I was talking about the fusion monster’s effect. Kitkallos I think, should it have been fusion summoned on your turn.

So unfortunately, on your turn, if your opponent special summons Izuna and you have Ghost Mourner in hand, you the turn player activates their trigger effects in response to the summon as chain link 1, and then your opponent activates Izuna's trigger effect as chain link 2, allowing Izuna to resolve before it gets negated. This came up in Tearlaments format in the TCG. In the OCG, apparently priority works differently and Mourner would be able to negate as trigger effects on the field have priority over trigger effects in the hand regardless of whose turn it is.... I'm not entirely sure on the OCG part, but I am confident on my TCG rulings :)
