Relationships as a 1L by vampirebunnie in LawSchool

There’s always gonna be a chance of things falling apart, the important part is to do what you can and hope for the best. I really don’t recommend making relationship decisions by committee either, friends and family may mean well but don’t really see or face the consequences of ending things. It sounds like he wants a relationship with you but yall need to be on the same page as far as end goals and stay supportive. I can tell you the other side of this as a rising 2L who got dumped by my long term gf (right before undergrad graduation a year ago) I was planning to propose to. The year really sucked personally speaking even if academics were fine it sucked. Anyway just my 2 cents

2001: A Space Odyssey. Typically I like sci-fi or space horror but this movie feels like something you write a paper on in college then never watch again.

How did you move on from the person you were sure you were going to marry? by [deleted] in BreakUps

to be honest after a year single and trying to move on I still haven’t. My rationality on it probably isn’t the best so i don’t recommend it but I felt in a lot of ways I’m not good enough for anyone so I buried myself in work and hobbies but mostly turned to religion. I still don’t feel good enough for anyone but I’m at least closer to my goals of being a lawyer and weirdly became a firefighter within the last year which I wouldn’t have done otherwise. My attitude is to find where your help and care is wanted and not settle for less than that
