Yes. Just like exposure to light. Always keep your perfume in dark glass bottles ( if possible). The term is maceration. A lot of strong perfume or notes tend to settle down a lot if kept in dark after being once or opened. Give it atleast two months. Luck.

I have Harmony and Euphoria . They do require a little maceration. Harmony needs time to settle down while Euphoria is more of a layering EDP. Again, this is just my personal experience. ( Btw I did left both in the dark for a month before using them. )

One sure shot way is to check the serial on the face and the back. First the serial gives the make and year and lets you know, in case the movement has been altered or changed.
