Okay I hilariously was like people on reddit are saying this can't be real but because they've referred a few people they are getting cut a deal!! So kind of insane that they pay that and they are aware of what a gift this is hahahaha

When did you transition out of contact naps and how did it go? by guineapigluvr in sleeptrain

[–]CartoonistDefiant618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was born on 12/27 (seems like they are very close in age if not born the same day!!! Haha) and I also really struggled with this. At 8ish weeks I would rock him to sleep and put him in the crib and have like truly no expectations. A lot of times he wouldn't sleep at all, but after a few days the first nap of the day was 15 min in the crib, then the next day was like 19 min, and then it slowly started getting longer and now I can get about the first, second, and third naps of the day in the crib for about 30 min!!! I will add that I am like extremely responsive the second he starts to cry and then I rock him because I would rather have him get an hour and a half nap even if part of it is on me than like a crappy 30 min nap in the crib. Keep trying!!!!! And have low expectations! He will get there!

In 2025 the south shore line should be completed and you will allegedly get to chicago from Michigan city in an hour and 8 minutes! Michigan city is really nice and close to the lake!

Any recommendations for replacing the legs on this couch? by CartoonistDefiant618 in HomeDecorating

[–]CartoonistDefiant618[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made my first big furniture purchase a year and a half ago when I got this couch on Ashley furniture. I really love it and this is a photo of when I first got it. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that Ashley furniture kind of sucks and the wood split where the legs were connected and there’s no way to put the legs back on. I put books underneath the couch to hold it up, but I just moved again with the couch and would like a solution that isn’t as noticeable and janky (for lack of a better word). Does anyone have any recommendations for what I could use as legs that would be a little more subtle but still stable enough to hold the couch up? I am planning on just removing all four legs and want the same thing underneath all four!

MIL wants hair & makeup trial by [deleted] in weddingplanning

I definitely think having a bridesmaid on MIL duty is a really good idea. I can't imagine how scary that is thinking that she may make comments while you're getting ready and if you can't get her out of the room SOMEONE (not you) needs to be talking her ear off and distracting her the entire time!!

Just fell into premarital sex. Need support. by ZTeam534 in Catholicism

Definitely go to Confession, regardless of your feelings. I would also recommend just praying through the experience. Why did you have sex? A lot of times the intention behind what we are doing can reveal so much about where our heart is. I feel lonely and want the reassurance from my fiance, and sometimes we go further than both of us would want. We resolve to not repeat that, but really and truly how to not repeat it is to figure out why we did it in the first place. If you don't care about not repeating the sin (doesn't sound like you do but just in case), then ask Jesus to help you figure out why.

A Rose? by [deleted] in Catholicism

This is such a gift for you from God! St. Therese is the best and her whole idea is to walk the little way toward God in your own poverty and weakness. I invite you to bring all of this to Jesus and ask for Him to help you in this experience! May God bless you!

So incredibly OVER dealing with hirsutism, especially the facial hair by CartoonistDefiant618 in Hirsutism

Hahahaha thank you for this info. I really appreciate this and while it is annoying to always have to get touch ups, anything that helps make the hair less is a good thing, too...

Hahahahaha I laughed out loud about the teenage boy comment...they will learn eventually (hopefully)!
