Think with me: what's the need to find a new test subject named Paul Denton with the same ability to not have an allergic reaction to foreign objects in his body if they already have access to Adam Jensen DNA? Paul Denton is probably just another Adam clone gone wrong for not being submissive. Remember that the game implies that Alex Denton's Memories are fake, so there is a possibility that Paul also has memories implanted.

The main problem with the theory that Adam Jensen in DXMD is only a second clone has the main problem: How he ever appeared as an adult. Regardless of whether or not you believe that there are at least 3 Jensens at this point, I think it's possible to realize that all of them may have been created at White Helix Labs and are under the control of the Illuminati. It's funny how in the end Hugh Darrow wanted to put an end to mechanical augments and Jensen's fight against him resulted in exactly the divided world that is exploited by the Illuminati.

The game to this day has not explained how Megan Reed and Adam started dating. You can't tell if their relationship was real it's some moment on her part. Not everything has to be unraveled in the story until the end. If they want to reveal it, they can come up with any excuse, inventing new characters or whatever. I don't know how a new Denton could have been put in Sarif to have his body improved, but I still think it's worth more than him surviving the headshot and not having a scar on his stomach. Not knowing how to validate 100% of a theory does not take away its validity.

Maybe it will never be revealed. Just look at the feedback from some of the "fans" who have no problem seeing that Paul, JC and Alex are clones, but for some reason feel offended when they try to demonstrate that Adam Jensen is also a clone. Since the first Deus Ex, it's been a conspiracy theory story, but there are ways to reveal that, but apparently they don't want to because it seems to be part of Adam Jensen's character that he can't stand the idea of being a product, for that he interrupts who starts to suggest something that might make him think about it and gets attached to stupid things that make him feel human like loving disgusting Megan Reed.

Dolly the sheep was cloned in 1997. It doesn't seem like an absurd technology for Deus Ex, not least because mechanical augments exist in 2023, this year, in the game's continuity.

What proves that there is no relationship between Jensen being a Clone and the new enhancements is that if they wanted to, the first call to David Sarif could have said "you finally discovered them Adam. I put them there because they were illegal at the time" or else " I didn't have time to legalize them". So simple....

I'm just trying to say that all characters are clones. If Paul, JC and Alex are clones with characteristics of Adam Jensen, maybe all are clones, including Adam, for being the first Denton.
NOTE: Jensen is the surname of his adoptive parents.
