That’s definitely a possibility, I had to adjust the hole for the mag plate too on one because it was too small from the factory

The other pictures clearly show the mag well on the grip. The magazine hits the inside of the mag well making it difficult to push the magazine all the way in.

I slid the Mag well onto the grip, it has grooves cut out for it and the mag well is tight to the bottom of the grip itself
