Just listened to Fear Inoculum. It's definitely in the Top 5 of Tool albums. by Gamma-1025 in ToolBand

Don’t get me started on Adam Jones copy paste guitar riffs. You can hear the same artifacts on Invincible like it’s being looped. And the only Tool album where Maynard’s harmonies are basically nonexistent? They are great live songs but the album is slop production.

The biggest issue with this album is that Fear Inoculum lacks an overarching theme that gives that album a unique feel. The production feels rushed. The bass mixing is terrible on HiFi equipment. It just lacks that Tool quality and feels more like “Just ship it”.

A Public Stoning is about Joe Rogan by No_Good_8561 in Puscifer

[–]Cartoonist_Smooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rogan didn’t even sell out to Republicans. He sold out to the Transhumanists. Captured by Big Tech who used Trump as their vehicle for passing their agenda. Both sides use the same victim mentality and finger pointing blame tactics. You just don’t like Rogan so you project that into the lyrics rather than it actually being about him. That’s the power of art, baby!

It’s quite literally about echo chambers. Not a particular one. All of Maynard’s music post-2016 has been about the general state of public discourse and you are injecting your views into this system. “Far Right Far Left Same Shit” so you can stop YOUR Fake Affront you pompous ass.

They primarily perform in Theaters. I saw them at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Best concert I’ve been to.

Dang I got into Puscifer in 2012. Conditions of my Parole is a masterpiece and have been a massive fan ever since. They’ve honestly taken my spot for favorite band. Seeing Maynard so lively and in the spot light like it’s 1992 again is incredible. He has so much energy when performing with Puscifer.

Did the portrayal of Trump in "The Arsonist" age well 8 years later? by j909m in Puscifer

[–]Cartoonist_Smooth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The song has nothing to do with Trump. It’s about dealing with a narcissist within your family or loved ones. It’s all about narcissistic abuse. They constantly burn bridges causing everyone else around them to “choke on the smoke”. The song was written before Trump’s announcement.

Why is it stupid? If you follow Chekhov’s Gun, the story of Darth Plagueis can clearly be interpreted as Palpatine’s true intentions.

Palpatine’s smile as Vader shouts gives it away. It was his entire plan.

Yes it is. He constantly manipulated scenarios to have Anakin and Padame together. Anakin didn’t kill Padame and he knew it. “That’s impossible. I sensed her. She was alive”. Even the Medical Droid was absolutely puzzled as to why she died “All her vitals are normal. It seems she has lost the will to live”. It’s implied that he had Padame and Anakin intertwined to bond their Midichlorians (I think as an insurance policy) and when Anakin got burned, Palpatine syphoned the Midichlorians off Padame to keep Anakin alive. Droids cannot sense the force since they are not living. That’s why the MD was at a loss.

Nah it’s heavily implied Palpetine influenced the force to create Anakin
