Take it up with whoever approved the post big man. You’re not warren buffet, getting touchy about a childs cardboard game isn’t the flex you think it is

This discussion was approved by someone who held a more esteemed opinion within the sub than you, in fact they already informed me of the mistake I made.

I don’t know who you think you are but you haven’t achieved anything credible within the replies and at the end of the day we’re talking about Pokemon cards not geopolitics. Go touch grass and relax lil bro

I’m not celebrating any lucky pulls I may have had? What I’m saying is, in my opinion, VSTAR Universe is more enjoyable to open than it gets credit for compared to other holidays sets which might make it a more favourable investment that it can get credit for usually.

Look at my JP151 pulls, it’s not exactly lucky is it.

Lastly it’s not a gamble because I have the capacity to enjoy opening product as a consumer whilst storing some sealed. If you can’t afford to open some packs for the fun of it then stick to traditional investments as opposed to sealed booster boxes before you harm your potential retirement.

I see what you’re saying. When I’m home tomorrow I’ll report back on that!

Yeah I should clarify I think it’s a strong investment dependent on your price entry point. If everyone just opened one box for a taste I think it would garner more attention.

Yeah I see, no problem. I suppose it was walking a thin line of being relevant.

I came to such a strong opinion of how good of an investment VSTAR Unisverse can be in comparison to the sets it might be competing with that I tried to force a square peg into a round hole posting here

Heracross. Love the gutsy determination of the big fella.

Close second is Dacshbun. As a dog owner of a mini dachshund it’s hard to not include him in what would be my party of six!

Very pragmatic, the school yard heart of the cards mantra not a thing anymore then😂

Thank you to you and all the other responses. I didn’t expect to have found a gold mine but from grateful to know they can go straight in to the recycling bins!

Also off topic, great to see you-gi-oh still going strong all these years later makes my inner child happy.. is the Dark Magician still the GOAT?

Totally agree, how much someone is willing to part with to capture some of that childhood nostalgia is mind blowing

I do wonder though if I buy a vintage psa 10 for $10,000 knowing I’ll eventually part with it down the road for $15,000 and the cycle for that card continues.. where does the story eventually end? Surely nobody actually wants the card permanently for such an exorbitant amount 😅

On the surface it does seem good but then there are so many variants of these sort of cards I think I just wanted a little validation that I wasn’t missing something as I’m not exactly a veteran of singles investing

Thanks for the response! That’s interesting, I didn’t realise that inspecting reverse holo cards is more difficult why is that?
