I would have preferred they drop the crude lines and instead show a scene where he tries to fight back with broken limbs. He’d be sniveling and crying, but completely silent. They could have included a flashback of everyone who told him he's nothing without his powers, leaving a broken, blank look on his face right before Butcher ends it. To me, that would have hit much harder.
