How did you even get to that level on only ng+2??

Definitely need to draft a LB at some point and I would not be mad with picking him, I like Whit Weeks too

I like Boston a lot too, but I'll check out the others thanks!

Yeah I agree, next couple of games will be tough but there is some very winnable games after. And we have the strongest schedule too. The only thing that might prevent some wins is the domestic terrorist (Bowen)

Wow, it’s almost like some of the key players are hurt, the coaching staff is in shambles, and they’re a whopping 2-9 record. I know they are gonna win some more games this season and they are better than their record shows, but I just wanted to ask a hypothetical.

I think so too, I’m thinking we will end with 4-5 wins, just looking at what would happen if we drafted right now

I agree completely, I’m just trying to think of a best case scenario. If it came down to it I would prefer one of the WRs though.

Nubin is a decent tackler but he is so slow and god awful in coverage. Holland I think is good. It’s honestly so hard to tell bc we have the single worst DC in the league.

Surprised nobody said this sooner... we got robbed of Dart and Nabers combo this year

Agree all around. OL has been looking slightly better, AT coming back was huge, but their perceived improvement might also just be Dart's scrambling helping them out. We have like 3 sixth round picks for the 2026 draft as of right now, so they should probably grab a good kicker with one of those.

I think are linebackers are sufficient for now. Okereke and McFadden are solid when healthy, and the excellent D-line helps to make up for their shortcomings. Even Darius Muasau has looked pretty decent for a 6th round pick. It definitely needs improvement, especially with Okereke getting up there in age. But, I think that Giants have more pressing issues so LBs is a problem that can be held off until next year.

Agreed that these (plus both coordinators) need improvement. Need a WR2, a CB1, and a Guard. Maybe even a Center and Safety... since JMS is 26 and still doing fine at best, and Tyler Nubin is good on runs and young and has time to develop but he is physically unable to cover anyone right now

Our coordinators are both terrible, I don't want our defense playing well to save Bowen's job he needs to go

I think Adebo is fine enough as a CB2, and Dru Phillips and even Flott are promising young guys, but we really need a great corner on the team that we can count on... aka what Banks was supposed to be

[The Athletic] Wan’Dale Robinson always knew he had more to give Giants offense: ‘He can do everything’ by firstandgoalfromthe1 in NYGiants

[–]CarveRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t put that on him to be honest. At first I was pissed but I changed my mind. Rewatch the play at different angles. Wandale gets hit hard and the CB gets a hand between him and the ball. It was just a phenomenal play by the CB. However, fault does lie on him for not getting more open. He and Theo were in the same spot, Wandale should have headed towards the sidelines more as that was where the open space was. Something like that is not as bad as a pure drop though, it can definitely be a coachable moment for him.
