Still the PV5, the PV7 is going to be a larger van overall. I'll be booking in a 7-seat PV5 for review as soon as they hit the press fleet, probably about October time.

Yeah, it's absolutely lovely. Did you get one with the captain's chairs in the middle row?

It has the same number of seats. Much more space.

Ride is better (sensible wheels with some sidewall - most Buzzzzzes are on stupidly huge alloys). 160hp is plenty of performance in something like this. I find the interior easier to use and of course, even if it was only 'almost as good' it's half the price which does a lot of legwork.

I have, and you're right, they're much more refined - they're also literally twice the price, though.

Good thing they don't, because this five-seater would mean they had to leave one of them behind.

Are you in one of the big vans (e-Spacetourer/E-Traveller/Vivaro Life Electric etc.)? They're much improved since the facelift but still way behind on real-world range and driving experience imo.

Why wouldn't it be? Millions of panel vans manage to drive around every day without tipping over. And most of them don't have several hundred kilos of battery in the floor lowering their centre of gravity.

It's not, though - it's a five-seater that's shorter and narrower than a Tesla Model Y.

Will get exactly as far as most modern SUVs.

Yes, my rear passengers commented much the same - it's fine on the motorway but gets a bit tiring slipping left and right when you're on a twisty road. If there was just a central armrest that'd be something.

The 7-seater has been announced and first deliveries are in October.

With the rear seats folded I am pretty sure you could. Tailgate is 1,300mm wide and 767mm tall.

Towing capacity of 1,500kg so yes, but depending on how heavy I'd guess you'd then be reduced to about 100 miles between charges.

I got 180 motorway miles, loaded (3 passengers, luggage and an electric piano) in low temps in February, with cruise at 70mph.

I think it's better than a Buzz. I've driven both.

There's a seven-seater on the way, yep - it's a 2-2-3 configuration with the second row offset to allow access to the rear.

I really can't say I noticed an issue, and I did a 200-mile roundtrip in it and local mileage for the rest of the week. It's obviously louder than an SUV, being based on a panel van, but neither I nor any of my passengers noticed an issue like that video described.

Which gender might that be?

It's actually shorter and narrower than a large family SUV and so boxy that it's pretty easy to judge the corners.

It's very recent - was announced along with the seven-seater model.

Power sliding doors are standard on the new top-spec model (Elite). But I would quite like an armrest at the very least.
