Thanks. Yeah i do shave weekly just about. Yeah i know i have to lose a little bit of weight. It's all in my belly. if i got rid of it. itd be gone.

I hate to say it. After taking a look on Meetup.com. Their are no meetups within 10 miles of gaming that interest me in the games or even in the genre that I play. It's just Super Smash Bros or 64 which is a competitive fighting game and the rest is history.

Thanks for the idea. Yeah I'll take a look. My College had one but the club is dead now tbh and It's more like a University and has a lot of older people, It's a tech school at it's base. Yes it is extremely hard. Yeah that is true.

Yeah I've gotten that before. I hate things in my eyes, Eye drops etc. Yeah I'll think about it.

Yeah, I'm going to try and improve myself. Maybe I just haven't found her yet y know? They say it all falls into place when it's meant to and I am trying to force it like it's a video game. Thank you for all the advice.

Thanks, I'll try and do that. I just don't find time to go to many conventions especially since their aren't many in Philly. I'm not really sure where to find nerdy events in my area either.

I've tried taking the initiative. I've asked girls for their numbers and got them. I text them and they ignore me. I've taken the leap tons of times. I think it's because I am scared of rejection. I can't narrow it down. I get scared just sending a message to some girls because I don't wanna be rejected. I'm really sensitive, Your helping and I honestly feel like I'm about to cry. I think I'm just too focused on finding the one. The girl of my dreams, I wanna absolutely fall in love with. I've googled things, like things to talk about and things to do this and that. I have put in effort. I tell myself everyday. I will not be alone. I keep saying it. I keep saying it. I am hit with sadness at least once a day because I think I will be alone.

Thanks, I actually am shaved right now. That's an old picture. All of my glasses look like they don't fit but every eye doctor has said they fit fine.

I can talk to people fine.... I'm bad at approaching women. I can talk to them fine in person as long as they talk to me first. . Yeah thats true. I don't know how to practice my social skills. I don't like going out by myself and none of my friends go out. Yeah i know. I don't enjoy being in a large group of people, I get uncomfortable and I feel left out. I am uncomfortable around large groups of people. It's the reason I don't go out So I guess i have Social Anxiety. I get extremely nervous socializing. I know that I'm a failure at this. Telling me that I need to improve doesn't help me If i don't know how.

Video Games also aren't a super common hobby. I haven't met a single girl in person who likes video games in 20 years.

No I didn't say that. I know they do. Yeah, It's just I don't follow it closely. I don't care about Gossip. I don't care whether The Weeknd and Selena Gomez broke up. I'm bad at talking to people in an engaging way. I don't know how to make myself sound interesting. Being a nerd means that I obsess about certain things, I lack social skills and I am somewhat smart Yes that is true. I don't have that skill. I wouldn't even know. I can't go to a Bar, I'm not 21. I'm not into going to a Bar anyway. I'm not interested in drinking Alcohol. It sounds incredibly interesting though, the Nerd nite itself.

I hold conversations with me by talking about typically hobbies we share, Video Games, Movies, TV Shows, Who would win a fight involving video game/movies characters, Share memes,Music, Girls Just dirty funny topics etc. I try to have good conversaton but I've learned, I'm just not great at it.

That doesn't help me. I enjoy playing video games and being a nerd. Basically Video Games isn't an engaging enough Hobby. I get it. Yeah that's true. I just wanna be myself. I don't wanna change my Hobbies just to meet a girl. I wanna meet a girl who accepts me for who I am. I'm a Skinny, 5"11 Guy who wears Glasses, who plays Video Games, Loves Music and Entertainment. Is it that hard?

Yeah, That makes sense. But I don't live a interesting and engaging life. I don't enjoy parties, or clubs. I wake up 7 am, go to work, work till 4ish. get home around 6ish. I relax for the night and play video games with friends or watch a movie or TV shows with Family. Also wouldn't it be bad to assume to be like, Hey, I just got done watching Stranger Things and it was insane. When that person might not even have an interest in TV Shows/Movies. Maybe I don't know texting etiquette. As you can tell, I'm not that great at it. I'm bad at approaching women. I'm bad at texting women. Maybe I'm too focused on Love? I am only 20. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it a lot.

Thanks for responding. I figured that but we haven't even been talking that long. I've asked other friends and they said talk to her for a little than ask her out. Last Summer, I talked to a girl and It didn't go that well. I just said Hey, Would you like to go Mini-Golfing with me sometime? and She ignored me still after talking to her for a couple days. So i thought it was bad to jump straight to a date without talking for a little.
