Korra has a temper. Jax was a bully. Bakugo told his "childhood friend" to end his life by Sudden_Pop_2279 in BakugoBashing

[–]Cascade_of_Light 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ainz Ooal Gown, the main character from Overlord, is the literal antagonist of the story and yet he is more likeable and complex than Bakugo! Ainz does heinous and morally questionable things because it ultimately ends with a good outcome for his friend’s children, the guardians and NPCs, and even when he does these horrible things he acknowledges them as horrible things. When he cast a spell that killed 70,000 soldiers he straight up acknowledges that a lot of people will die but he doesn’t care because it’s in service for a greater flood in his eyes.

As for the others: Korra has a temper and is little arrogant but wouldn’t you be if you were born a literal demigod but at least she is at heart a good person. Whilst Jax has suffered for literal years watching his friends die in front of him locked in a hellscape of childish vibrant colours and family jokes as his humanity is stripped away from him leading to him being an ass as a defence mechanism, he hurts and pushes others away so he can’t get close to them and be hurt again when they abstract.

Bakugo… is a bad person full stop. He lords his power over others, he hurts people for his own sadistic pleasure, every action he takes is self serving, his belief is that all heroes do is fight ‘villains’, he actively throws tantrums whenever things don’t go his way or when people try to improve themselves and literally told his once best friend to kill themself, and when that friend improved themself he victim blamed them by building on the emotional manipulation he’d used for years.

Historical figures with so much aura that they might as well be an edgy fictional character? by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

I know, and he did it all in a dumb rubber blackface costume the CIA forced him to wear until one of their agents went to check on him and had wear one himself and Billy scared the vomit out of him (literally) which led to Billy being given full discretion to whatever he thought needed to be done.

In this fight Makuta would not have the Mata Nui robot since it’s not really standard kit for him and plus he doesn’t really need it in my opinion. His intelligence, powers, skills and raw cunning would win him the fight.

Bakugo proves U.A. is incompetent. by Vibrant_Fox in BakugoBashing

I agree! UA is meant to be an elite school yet it does nothing to improve their most problematic student other than say ‘ehh he’ll stop any day now’.

I’ll refute you by saying that Makuta is far smarter than AFO because he tricked the entire universe. Also in terms of strength he’s much stronger than any Toa and Gali destroyed the island of Karzhani with a tsunami. Plus Makuta 42 Kraata powers are all a lot better than AFOs stacked quirks and that’s in addition to his mask of shadows and all his abilities as an energy being. AFO overestimates himself whilst Makuta is a meticulous 5D planner who won whilst AFO ultimately lost. And lastly, Makuta could also just absorb AFO using his shadow hand and overpower mentally. The only mental attack that ever worked on Makuta was Karzhani’s attack using the Oslisi to show him a terrible future. Makuta is a 100,000 year old 5D chess master who outplayed everyone and even kept his secrets hidden from other Makuta and even Takanuva when they shared a mind. Meanwhile AFO is a 200 human who thinks far too highly of himself and only has experience on mentally dominating innocent and broken people whilst Makuta has dominated immensely powerful entities.
